Coupn Not received since 3 Months
Dear HT,

I have handover the cheq. and mine application was submitted along with the nesscery documents in the month of April'10 last week, and payment of Rs. 199 was also debited from mine bank on 10th May 2010.

Details are as follows :

Amount : Rs. 199/-
Cheq. Nos. : 007737
Bank : HSBC

This all was done for taking the annual subscription of the HT ( Hindustan Times ) it was promised to me that from next month i.e May'2010 i will get the facility of the same.

It was so worse experiance with this national media agency HT, customer support team is realy so bad not like what HT claim

Today is 14th of July 2010 and the status is that i am still waiting the facility extended to me. ( Cheq. got cleaered in may and today almost mid of July 2010 )

Now look at the nos. of the follow ups i did form the HT customers care :

Whenever i called i was promissied that it will be done with in 10-15 days. AT last i called them on 12th July 2010 for refunding the amount for which also they are not able to give me solution for it. Secondly i asked them for the any other persone whom i can take up the matter with the higer authority whcih they refused to do so.

Now i request the HT thru you to reslove mine case or else refund mine amount on priority.

Fraud by advertising contests
Dear All,

Please don't reply to contests published in Hindustan times, they are merely making money by each SMS costing Rs. 3.0 Minimum. After reply they can say that you have won, & SMS again to give your Name & Address.
I have 2 such SMS saved in my mobile phone in which they said that you have won the gift, but so fat no gift is received after several reminders to them thru email.
Details are as below:
1) In the month of June'09, HT placed ad of its own regarding some cricket related contest, in which I sent SMS & received a message back on 12th June'09 that I won a gift, no gift received so far.
2) In an'2010 a contest of Fiama Di Wills published, I sent SMSs for it, I received a message on21.01.09 that your prize will be sent within 15 days, so far no prize is eceived.

Nondelivery of Coupon
I have subscribed for HT in November, they are saying they have sent the coupon, i have not received yet. So after paying for one full yesr in advance for yearly coupon, i am paying the bill again to my newspaper vendor

I wanted to complain Regarding Subscription of HT, My Id noHTN6838, Scheme:HT@349 I had applied for subscription of 2 years of which 12 months was good but after completion of one year I not getting my papar on asking the paper vendor I was told that the company is not providing the coupans for this conformation I telephoned The HT Member Mr.(Kuldip) But he had no wish of taking my complain seriously and blindfully told to contact his assist, Ihad tried several times to contact his assist, (Laxuman) but have no reply. So I would ask you to look in the matter .If you want to contact me you can just give a mail on [email protected], Now I am in no mood to ask regarding what happen and what not, I don't think anymore I will be continue your service thanks for your co-Operation Uptill now .I had subscribe for Times of India as well and have no comparison with your service. <br />

Non-renewing membership
I have applied for renewal of subscription for two years on 30.07.2008 & cheque was collected by your employee Name: Balgovind Thakur & Employee Code: T6X34. with Cheque No: 636407 of Canara Bank. Receipt No: 534362. Also I have receive the Verification Calls from your side for Several times which i have attended and provided all the details which was asked for & Last week I got the call from Hindustan times saying that we have dispatched the coupons which you will receive within few days time. Even day before yesterday i got a call for verification.

Today when I called up customer care they are saying that the cheque is rejected due to verification is pending because of no-response. Now i don't understand that how many times you verify the details & if your customer executives are not updating the details is it my problem. & even you don't believe your employee who is collecting the cheque. I have given my mobile no. & all the time i have got the call on my mobile so how can you say that verification is pending.

What about my next month's subscription as my vendor is not ready to give newspaper from next month onwards. I want justification for the same that how can you waste a whole month just for verification & harassing the customer.

It means that you are not interested in serving the customers.

Subscriptions
Hi,

I talked to Ms.Tabassum today at 67764242 and got the same response that my coupon has been sent to my esidence address. Are you guys out of your mind or you don't understand my problem.

She gave me some other no-67047291 which was of central department and of no use to me. I again got a no of Mr. Pankaj for Andheri sales team-67349541 which again went ringing...


Can you reply on the status of it if at all you are meant for this service.

Kindly provide me the contact details of any person or department where I can complain against it or I have to go to consumer court or stuffs like that

Courier return from Vichare Courier happennned a month back and was HT team sleeping after that? Do you have any answer for the delay caused (even after the repeated information about the alternate address through mails and calls) and for the irresponsiveness?


When can I expect my courier now?

Non delivery of newspaper
My father in law had subscribed to Hindustan Times News Paper vide "Form No:R133966" for two years. Subscription was in the form of monthly coupons to be given to news paper vendor on monthly basis. Of the two years subscribed we had received coupons only for first twelve months. HindustanTimes was supposed to give the remaining 12 months coupon at end of first year term. But Hindustan Times did not give the coupon so I promptly called up the customer care on 67764242 / 67764248. The response from customer care was highly irr-responsible and negligent. Initially they said the coupons were dispatched to the newspaper vendor directly. So we conveyed the same to the vendor and in anticipation of coupons he supplied the news paper for two months. Even then the subscription coupons were not delivered. So we had pay the vendor separately for two months.So we had to incur a loss on the differential amount we paid to Hindustan Times and what actually the news paper costs. Then I called up the customer care again they said there was a delay in dispatch and they were sorry about it and would be dispatched immediately. But till date we have not received the coupons and the money for one year of subscription has also not been re-funded. Now it has come to notice that Hindustan Times has delivered the coupon to vendor directly instead of the subscriber. Vendor is forging the subscribers signature in the coupon and claiming the money. On talking to people in HT we are still being promised the subscription will be started but we have not received the paper till date and we see no action from people are Hindustan Times.
