Hiram Waste and Recycling apparently has no problem not honoring a contract
Hiram Waste and Recycling apparently has no problem not honoring a contract. We signed up two years ago for home trash service picked up twice weekly at a rate much less than the competition. In the case of Hiram Waste it is definantly buyer beware as cheaper is not better. Hiram Waste stopped giving the service agreed upon. I understand some customers received notes attached to the trash container while others as in our neighborhood never received any notice at all. We just patiently kept putting out the dumpster every Monday and Friday hoping somehow the trash would get picked up as promised. I was informed of the change in service (now down to one day a week) from a recorded message Hiram Waste has on the phone number listed on the billing card. I have requested a return call to discuss the lack of service and have never receive the call or corespondence from Hiram Waste. I have canceled our contract and requested a refund of prebilled amounts. I only hope that enough people see this and Hiram Waste will have to pay for their business practice of ripping off customers.
