WOW!! Very eye opening! Who knew...I hired Hit in May of 2010. to do a ladies fashion boutique. I gave them half of the toatal...$4700. Now they are out of business!!! Are you frigin kidding...My web site had been in construction since May 2010...all promises and 4 completion dates...but NO web site!! I have had 6 project managers...when I asked why? they said It was standard! Each tried to sell me something and some were successful...little did I know! They committed to a project where they couldnt deliver!! Almost 5000.00 I gave them! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! Thieves...dishonest...and shameful!!! Justice shall be served and Karma is a bitch! Good Luck to all who screwed the paying honest customers! Theres so much more...what everyone writes is completely correct, unfortunetly we can not forworn anyone because HIT is toast!!!

HIT WEB DESIGNS is a scam just like many others have said. They sound professional starting off and then after they have your credit card info and have milked you on extras, no communication from them at all. A piece of crap first draft website and then nothting further! Do not even talk to these people! Their main phone number no longer works. Web hosting is now with FiberNet they say. I'm cancelling all payments and hope they all rot in hell!

Well, Hit closed their doors today and as most people know, they owe about 9 million dollars to the IRS. They haven't paid their employees since October 2010, and they didn't pay payroll taxes and that's where the 9 million comes in. I too, had a terrible experience getting my website up, but it did go up about a year ago. After that, I stopped answering the phone when I saw them call. The web designer that worked on my site, one of their employees, emailed me over the weekend and told me how bad things were, and that I needed to find another hosting company and recommended one, so I went with Justhost. I trust the web designer, so I felt this was the right thing to do, plus, they gave a discount to her customers and there were many. It is a horrible feeling to be ripped off by seemingly decent people, like the sales people at Hit, but to know they flat-out lie about their services and charge credit cards for work that wasn't finished is absolutely criminal and I am sure there will be at least one class action lawsuit against them. What blows my mind is that in their Terms of Service, they stipulate that you cannot say anything bad about them on the Internet or in any public media forum, or they can sue you. Had I read that thoroughly, I would have run the other way. It's a shame for all the customers that were ripped off, and the employees that haven't been paid, but they can't do it anymore and they will have he** to pay for it.

This company charged me $600 dollars promising to give me a website in 10 days via their HD Express 10 Day Plan. It has been over one month and I have received NOTHING, not even a rough draft. After two weeks, they stopped replying to my emails and would not call me back. Every time I called the wait would be 20 minutes+ and I would just get an answering machine. After finally getting a hold of someone (after a week of trying), they cancelled my account, but refused to give me a refund. I have just lost $600 and received product or service. I am irate and reporting Hit Web Design / Heritage Web Solutions for fraudulent business practices.
