I have experienced the most frustrating customer service with Hit Web Design (formerly known as Heritage Web Solutions). The hold time when contacting them via phone is anywhere from 30-60 minutes. If that's not bad enough, after you hold that long, you are automatically disconnected.The only time they answer their phone right away is if you want to purchase a website. In addition, I've experienced email problems, website problems...you name it! Ive tried going to another company, however, I've already paid Hit Web Design alot of money to create and maintain my website and if I go somewhere else, I will be charged more money to have them get my website up. I'm beside myself with what to do with this company. I've left many messages complaining about their horrible service and have never been contacted about it. I would definitely detour anyone from using this company for any type of web creation and hosting.

We are in the midst of the worst business relationship we have ever entered in to. On December 19, 2009, we paid HIT Web Design $2, 800 of a $5, 600 estimate to provide us with a website for a new product. We were told by the salesman, Nathan Golden, that it would take about 60 days. In arranging the coordination of the product rollout, we allowed 90 days for web development. It is now almost May, 2010, and there is no website in sight. Why? I have no idea, but I can offer these experiences to you.

1. I have been assigned 5 account managers in less than 5 months. The current manager, Ryan Sneed, has never logged into FundElert to see what is going on, and he has never replied to any of my emails or phone calls.
2. Our site has been broken down into 6 tasks, with a different person assigned to each task - text writing, database development, page layout, integration and flash development. After each task is signed off as complete, don't hold your breath waiting for the next task to be assigned to someone.
3. Overall, I can say that customer service is responsive by sympathizing with us and putting us on to someone who can help; however, after an initial conversation with that person, they cannot be counted on, and they do not return phone calls or emails.
4. Getting through to HIT management is impossible. They are better insulated than the worst third world dictators.

In 40 years of business, I can honestly and accurately say that deciding to hire HIT was one of the worst decisions we have made. I suggest HIT change their name one more time - HIT need another letter in it, preferably right in front of the H.

Hit Web Design is a ripp off, They take your money up front and Promise to design the web site in a short period of time. 8 months later the website still does not function. They said they can make it work for more money. Getting ready to file a lawsuite against them. Please do your homework and hire someone local to you, that you can meet with face to face.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

They seem nice and sometimes friendly but don't be fooled. I know I am not alone when I say this company is garbage. It will take this company over 7 month to design a website. Why? They contract most of their employees from outside sources. They don't return calls or emails in a timely fashion. It could take weeks to get a response. This company will waste your time and money.

HIT Web Design, is awful. They rip you off. My site never worked and my complaints never fixed anything. The flash and html codes were so broken in my page, they admitted they would need to re-build the entire site, I said NO! I was able to get a 50% refund when I gave them a file number of a lawyer licensed in Utah who had won several cases against them before. They are corrupt. STAY FAR-FAR AWAY! Complete SCAM! They had cancelled my site, and I just found out today that they were getting ready to charge me my re-newell fee, I do not even think so! I'll be reporting them to the BBB today also.
