HIT Web Design Reviews

Heritage Web solutions
I payed 200 dollars to have flash buttons put on my site. After a month of going back and forth with customer service they told me it was already completed when the work never started. They said when you hover over the buttons they flash green and I told them thats been doing that for 4 months. They wont refund me they said they just did that even though the technician says he didn't do anything. Heritage Web Solutions now known as hit wont help me. I have sent tons of emails to all their complaint departments they will most likely post after I post this saying contact there 800 number and or email them at [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected] Trust me you have to send tons of emails to those three emails to get a response. I have called them so many times for help and they wouldn't help me. They are now riping me off saying the work is done. HIT web design stay away. There customer service wont help. All the like to do is sell there service and make you wait months to do anything even though they have the resources. They will tell you after you sign up they have know SLA that's service level agreement. My site was supposed to cost 2999 it's now cost 2000 and still not done. This company will rip you off. HIT Web design should put and S in front of HIT. This company is also Mormon Owned. Their articles of faith state be honest in your dealings with your fellow man. I thought when i signed up with them they were honest. They just sell empty and very late results. I have emailed all of them 800 plus times since the start of my site and its still not done. HIT web design when you read this, this is no new news for you grow up and be honest will your customers tell them we will finish your site when its conversant for us. Also the designers will only email when the site is done so your site will never look the way you want it unless you call and email hundreds of times. Come on give me an AMEN on this report. Just google search HIT for reviews I am telling the truth as God is my witness and I am LDS also. These are just bad mormons.

no work was done! No website, no nothing
These guys promise to design a website for you for $199. They pop up at the top of the Goggle search results. You will get a customer service rep in 2 rings who immediately up-sells you to a 5 page website for $500. Then lotsa luck. You can't get thru to anyone- let alone the so-called and probably non-existent "web designer" assigned to you. (Mine was Haley Jones) They will go to great lengths to try to pacify you. You will receive multiple emails asking "How are we doing"-but do not be fooled. No work will be done on your behalf. They will give you an unending supply of excuses. And constantly try to up-sell. Just to milk more money out of you. After 5 weeks I had yet to be presented with a proof. Beware their Terms of Service! Written by attorneys to skirt the law. If you try to cancel they will lay claim to 50% of any deposits you may have made. Beware! And run for the hills! Do NOT do business with them.
I finally had Citibank CANCEL my CC # and filled out an affidavit detailing their deceit.

Web Design
PLEASE stay far away from this company, on paper they seem to be a reputable company. After several months hounding me to purchase their website design service, I caved in and trusted them. Their presentation is clean and their persistence in gaining your business is excellent.

BEWARE…. After receiving your deposit everything goes downhill, poor customer service, unqualified designers and overall a fraudulent company.

PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY!!! They never present their Term Of Service Agreement (TOS) upfront, which has everything working in their favor.

Once they take your money you LOST!!! HIT does not have the capacity to build an average website. I lost over $1, 700 and still don’t have a presentable website. Don’t do business with them, you will regret it.

fraudulant and defamatory services
I find it extremely unsettling that Kayden Jensen and Spencer Paulson Of HitWeb Design along with Brian and Paul would stoop to such lows as to claim that 7 or 8 out of every 10 working at their company were Mormons...Especially in light of the fraud they have perpetrated upon me since November of 2009. It would appear that despite using email to communicate with them and having a trail of evidence which would normally convict the simplest of criminals, they are determined to walk free with the nearly $1500 I paid to them for a complete website build. I havent heard from them since the 2nd of March 2010. Since November 25th 2009 they have invested maybe 5 hours in the website I contracted them to complete. They exhibit the utmost disrespect and coarseness I have ever encountered in business by lying thru their teeth and refusing to provide the most basic customer service.
Worse is that they have improperly lied and spoken defamatory remarks about members of another religion by implying that the 7 or 8 out of 10 people who work at Hit Web are Mormons...In my intitial conversations with Spencer and then Kayden, they said because the ratio of those who work there is so high with Mormons they are honest professionals with whom anyone would be pleased to do business with them..and of course having known some Mormons who have fit that discription ie...honest, professionals, diligent and reliable of course I believed the hogwash they fed me...and bought in hook line and sinker.
Give me $1, 000, and I'll give you results." Those were the words David Aitken used to convince the owners of The Heritage Group to invest in his idea . . .
Well ...read this carefully people...David Aitken apparently may have convinced his employees to steal $1500 from me pretty much like he convinced his investors if he infact acquired any, to give him a $1000.
Anyone who wants to contact me for information about the nightmare I have had with this company please [email protected] want my $1500 back.

non-performance, refund withheld
Weeks before Christmas 2009 I was sold the website and sent them all my information. They over billed me by $100.00 and I had to re-send all my info pertaining to the web design I wanted and the designer stated in a email he never recieved anything from the customer service dept.
The page he "designed" was wack at best and nothing custom about it. Nothing I wanted was used and I rejected it. The designer re-sent the same page I had previously rejected and they finalized everything without my consent and refuse to give me a erfund. How can I have missed a 5 day window to erject the page I had already said no to? Their argument in moot. I am furious!!

SCAM
Wish I would have read this board first. They took my credit card number and after I told them to not bill me me and I wanted to cancel they did anyway. When you try to call them they give you a runaround even further and never respond to you. WHAT A SCAM!

Ripped me off and will not issue refund
Back in August 2009, I contracted HIT Web Design for a logo, web design and web hosting. They were paid $840 in advance and to this day (March 2010), I have yet to see anything but a logo. I consistently get phone calls from them asking me to purchase additional products at outrageous prices. They have refused to refund any of my money. Has anyone thought of starting a class action lawsuit against them?

Horrible Experience and Unacceptable Results
Unfortunately, our experience with HIT WEB Design was exactly like the many other complaints posted here and other sites. Had we known this beforehand, we would never have agreed to entrust our website into the hands of this company. If you are considering using HIT Web Design, PLEASE READ AND TAKE THESE COMPLAINTS SERIOUSLY!

We are extremely disappointed in HIT for both the "process" and false promises made that problems with our site would be fixed. These issues were never corrected and we were mislead repeatedly. The website created by HIT is embarrassing and not professionally designed-we cannot consider using it in any form.

We are seeking a refund and like many others will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office for the State of Utah.

Buyer beware!
