I paid $12.00 for a Movie entitled "Marjoe" (Marjoe Gortner) in May, 2009. Every month since (June, July, August, and September) they have been charging $12.00 plus a 36 cent "Foreign Transaction Fee". THIS MUST STOP NOW. I need to be refunded $49.44 for what has been charged me each of those four months! We just noticed this on our September Visa bill and then we dug up the other statements for those months. Who will be responsible for paying us back? What steps shall we take if this is not taken care of immediately?

The municipal office that I work for made a one time purchase on April 28, 2009 of a movie for our library from this company's website. We were charged $10.92 for the movie and were enrolled into an unadvertised contact for a monthly membership at the cost of $12 per month. Luckily only one charged went through our credit card for this membership charge because of the expiration of the credit cards and issuance of new credit cards with new expiration dates. We were made aware of the fraudulent membership by our credit card company after several unsuccessful attempts by the Hot Movie Sale company to process a $12 monthly membership fee charges.

I spoke to a customer service representative at Hot Movie Sale. After being told that I did not read the Terms of Service correctly...then telling the customer service woman that I am not an idiot and that no where on the website is it listed that this is a membership, I was able to canceled the fraudulent club membership. I have since filed a charge dispute with the credit card company, and they were very sympathetic and stated that they are well aware of Hot Movie Sale's schemes. I have viewed multiple web pages involving illegal bank deductions after searching for issues with Hot Movie Sale or HMS Movies, and I have filed a complaint form with the Better Business Bureau.

On 5/20/09, HMS Movie made an illegal, unauthorized deduction from my bank account. I have never signed up to pay for any service involving movies. Maybe it was done through another company.Either way, it was fraud and I want a full refund.
