Scam and cheating
I use to work sometime ago for the 'Holiday Systems International' (HSI) and 5 months after I leave the company I receive unwanted PETA membership as a gift from 'Holiday Systems International' (HSI).
I think it is doesn't do any good to refer PETA or HSI as a good business or organization to list as a members people without even asked permission to do so. Even if HSI owner crazy about PETA he has no right to make a decisions for other people join or not join ANY organization.

Rip Off
I've been a member of Holiday Systems International for a while. I was given their services as a "Gift" when I bought my Timeshare at Misiones Del Cabo. I decided to bank my 2 bedroom two bath with them last year because I couldn't use it. The unit I own is gorgeous! Ocean view, private jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the ocean. It's a red zone time frame which is prime. I tried to get a 1 bedroom in Hawaii for this April as a gift for my daughter for her honeymoon. HSI said that all they had was a 1/1 at the Royal Aloha Vacation Club. No Ocean View, minimal and amenities. I figured that that was better than nothing so I said OK. Then the fun started! I was told by Tatiana that I would have to pay an additional $100 for an "upgrade", a $35 guest fee and another $95 for the exchange fee. Grand total, and additional $225.00 in addition to the $520 timeshare fee I pay for my timeshare yearly. When I disagreed and told them that it was not acceptable, they told me that Hawaii was "prime" and the week I requested (the same week I gave them in Cabo) was during a holiday and that would cost me more. I explained that my banked unit was a prime red two bedroom that could be converted to two one bedrooms and that they were only giving me a one bedroom in return She then put me on hold and got her supervisor Ragu on the line...it only took 15 minutes for him to come back to the phone. He proceeded to tell me that Hawaii was prime and Cabo was not!!! BUT, he said, "We're all about customer service so let me see what I can do. I'll call you back Monday by 10am (This started on Friday before)." The next day, I called and was told that he had not spoken to the powers that be...I think he forgot over the weekend and/or didn't bother. I waited patiently another day only to be told by Tatiana on Tuesday when I called again, that Ragu had asked her to pass on a message to me that my request to lower the additional expenses had been denied...the guy didn't even have the gonads to speak to me himself!!! On Wednesday I called them again because they had told me I needed to send my credit card payment within 24 hours...as of Wednesday am, I had still not received the information I needed and the deadline for the condo they were holding for me was going to expire. It took me 3 calls (they hung up on me twice after putting me on hold forever) and 6 people to finally reach Taiana to confirm that they were sending the documents. This company is fraudulent and getting away with ripping people off. NONE of these additional charges are disclosed in their catalog or on their website. Don't use them, and warn your friends away!!! I'm passing this on to the Nevada attorney general's office.

Fraud, Elder Abuse, Harassment
This company is completely fraudulent. I bought a package with Holiday Systems International about 6 years ago. I was supposed to get good deals on hotels, airlines, etc. However, I booked a vacation on my own (not with Holiday Systems) and somehow, they found out about it (probably through the hotel). For 4 months, I have been receiving harrassing phone calls daily about money I owe them. Recently, I was sent a certified letter stating that I must go to small claims court in Nevada. THis statement is completely false, as Nevada does not have jurisdiction. The "manager, " Andrea Lewis does not accept my phone calls and hangs up when I do get through. They have threatened me with false legal claims (ones that are nonexistent). If this company wants to talk with legal ease, they should hire an attorney because they are completely unprofessional.
DO NOT GO WITH HOLIDAY SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL. Not only are they committing fraud, harrassment, and elder abuse, they expect to get paid when you book your own vacations on your own (when you don't go through their company).
I am going to file a complaint with the federal authorities. This is not a legitimate company and they must be held accountable.

Travel Agency Scam
We have just returned from Grand Myan vacation. We made the mistake to attend the Grupo Myan intorduction to there time time share program. What a mistake!! I have been in sales at all levels and feel qualified to say that this was the most orchaestrated, non-relenting, sales attack I have ever experieranced. We walked away to consider what had been presented to us. We returned the following mourning to rejecdt the offers close out the process. We greated with again another gently and genourous closer guy "BoB & Joe" (no fooling) and ended up taking the time share package. We arrived home yesterday with concernes of the promises made by Bob & Joe. So we made a google search and found the complaint page. This was very informative. We are know on a mission to research ways to cancel the payment and make other awair of the HSI tjme share and Grupo Myan programs.

Worst company ever
HSI is simply one of the weirdest and possibly worst companies I've ever worked at in my entire career. Here's a list of things I hated about the company and the people who run it:
1. 3 step interview process only to find out you're paid $12/hour - what a joke.
2. A requirement to memorize their "cheesy" script word for word - created by their douchebag CEO!
3. If you're a smoker or if anyone reports that you've been seen smoking in/out of work, you're fired.
4. If you're caught wearing "fur" of any kind - you're fired.
5. Audio & video surveillance at all times inside the building so their CEO can whack off to his employees.
6. Arrogant and ignorant managers employed by the worst CEO i've had the "privilege" to work for.
7. A company trying it's best to have a corporate environment but runs things worst than a really bad used car dealership.
8. CEO is being sold to employees and potential employees like he's some type of role model or the next best thing since the Dalai Lama.
9. CEO's beliefs being "encouraged" to employees like veganism or following a vegetarian lifestyle.
10. I've seen firsthand for the first time in my life the CEO of this company with close to 100 employees berate, embarrass and cussed one of his entry level employees in front of everyone.
11. Employees who've been there awhile seems like they live in fear when they're at work. They're aware of every little rule and regulation the company rolls out.
12. Promises of advancement and the possibilities of making money, as long as you're ready to give up your freedom and individuality.
13. I can go on and on but I'll stop here at number 13. Understand that working for this company means slaving away for the CEO, stroking his ego while you get f**** from behind. The turnover there is so high, so if you wanna experience it firsthand apply today!
