Sizes too small!!!
Great company, cute clothes. Too bad only skinny people can fit in them. They don't even have larger sizes online. Im not fat, but I do have curves so I can't fit in Hollister tops. They should have larger sizes available:]

Hollister does not cooperate when you have a problem with clothing even though their name is right on it
Hollister does not cooperate when you have a problem with clothing even though their name is right on it. I bought my daughter a sweat shirt with a two way zipper and it gets stuck every time she uses it. I brought the seat shirt to the store and they said they needed a receipt, which I did not save because, for the price I payed for it I thought I would not have any problem with the product. All I wanted was another Hollister sweat shirt with a zipper that worked. Please contact me. I am willing to send you the damage article if that is what you want. All I want is another sweat shirt.

Even less expensive stores have nicer salespeople
I was the only person in the store, purchasing some clothing items (for my daughter). The salesgirl told me that I could not even put the items down on the counter so that I could take out my wallet! My other arm was filled with clothing that my daughter had tried on, but did not want. I was going to put them away and come back to pay for the desired items. Instead, I just left them there, for the rude sales clerks to put away, as none of them were doing anything at all! God forbid they should even say "hello", or be helpful! There was no one else in that store purchasing anything; no one else waiting in line at the register--only me. There was also a display rack of polo shirts in colors that my daughter had been looking for, but the salesgirl would not help me get them down from the rack. What is wrong with them? I am accustomed to shopping at much nicer establishments, such as Neiman Marcus. However, even less expensive stores have nicer salespeople. I could POSSIBLY understand rudeness if they were busy, but they absolutely were not busy at all; in fact the salesclerks were simply talking to each other. It is like this every time we try to shop there. We will instead purchase the polo shirts on line, on the website. However, it is ridiculous to have to pay shipping and handling when there is a Hollister store a few blocks away from our house! Can't you train the sales clerks to be friendly? There are many people out of work who would probably be pleased to work there.

We wasted close to an hour of our time and couldn't buy anything because it belonged to the merchandising team
I recently took my daughter shopping at the Hollister in the Hamilton Mall (Mays Landing, NJ). She found a dress she liked and wanted to purchase. I was told by the cashier that they did not have the size my daughter needed. I spotted the same dress on a mannequin and asked it they could check its size. I was told by the cashier (very robotically) "it belonged to the merchandising team and could not be sold". My daughter decided to settle for a smaller size from the rack. We were then told at the register when they attempted to ring it up that they could not sell it to us because the tag had staples which made it unsellable. I replied that I didn't understand. The cashier responded that the dress was on the rack as a display. The fact that the tag had staples meant that it, also, belonged to the merchanising team. I replied "you must be kidding me". How is a customer supposed to know this. She said I should have noticed that the tag didn't have a price on it. We wasted close to an hour of our time and couldn't buy anything because it belonged to the merchandising team. We were quite disappointed. We left. We were able to purchase a dress from a competitor that is in the business to sell clothes not just display the belongings of their merchandising team...I left with a much better experience. Also, if you want your staff to tell customers about your sales, you need to lower the music so they can hear and understand. Ouch!

I had a very unsatisfactory experience at a local Hollister retail store
I had a very unsatisfactory experience at a local Hollister retail store. I tried to take it up with the manager, and the only reply I got was that he would talk about my dissatisfaction at their next store meeting, not even an apology for the way I'd been mis-treated. I tried to get a phone number, and finally found a "customer service" number online (not an easy task!) I was advised they do not address concerns by phone at all. This is NOT customer service!

I absolutely hate Hollister Co
I absolutely hate Hollister Co. Even my sons have been turned off by the store and its employees. They are between 18 and 22. The store is so dark I can't detect colors sometimes, there are plants scattered here and there in the traffic pattern, and the music is so loud I cannot even hear the sales clerk. This is not once, this is every time I have been in there. I bought my son a sweatshirt for Christmas and he opened it and said "I hate Hollister. Sorry." We took it back and I am glad we are done with the store. My three sons have moved on to other clothing stores. Awful. Makes me want to slap someone whenever I am there.

Customer Service
They canceled previous orders without cause and their customer services was the absolute worst I have ever seen. Went as far as calling their home offices, only to then be treated very rudely and ultimately passed off to an automated complaint recording, to which I never received a call back from. So I will never recommend, nor will I ever purchase another item from that complany, not for myself or for others. And you can bet I will continue to share that opinion with anyone whom ask.

I may only be 1 customer but I will never shop for that shit again
I tried to purchase a shirt at hollister the day after christmas and the line was really long, when I got within 2 people of being at the register the cashier said this line is for credit or debit only so my friend and I figured out a way to pay for the shirts so we would not have to start all over again and the shirt rang up more than what the sign said and I told her and there was a guy helping her bag the merchandise and he said that is for the solid colors only and I said the sign is over the striped ones and it was one of the magnetic sins so it was stuck in place and so I told him I wanted to speak to a manager and here came this little ninth grader who was the manager his name was Ryan, and I told him the problem and he said well that is the way we do it sweetheart. I said that is not right that is false advertisement and he just walked away and I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he told me he was the store manager and then I told him that I wanted a number that I could call and after a few times telling him he finally gave me a card with only hollister.com on it this is no way for a company to do business, there is no one you can speak to directly. I guess this is the way companies like this want it. As long as they are making the money they don't want to here from the people who are busting their ass to give the money to their kids so they are not made fun of and can buy this overpriced hollister shit. I may only be 1 customer but I will never shop for that shit again.

Hollister has shameful training; a horrible store
Trumbull CT USA Hollister obviously hires very young help and does not train them in customer service. I bought a number of items there yesterday (on sale); I asked the checkout person (young woman) if there were any coupons or a credit card I could get that would give me a percentage off the first purchase -- she disparagingly answered, "No."
Additionally, she did not greet me when I came to the checkout. And here is the worse part; upon purchasing my items she did NOT say "Thank You." This is unheard of -- customers are thanked everywhere; at the grocery, the gas station; but NOT at this low-class attitude- laden Hollister counter!
The counter person threw things in a bag; did not fold them neatly...since she did not say "thank you, " I said "You're welcome, " she has so much disdain for the customer and is so self centered in her 17-year-oldish narcissism, she did not even "get" what I was saying, nor did she even acknowledge me or give me any eye contact.
Hollister has shameful training; a horrible store!

Company, where managers were not allowed to give their name
I went into Hollister in Wesley Chapel, Florida and wanted to exchange a pair of jeans that were defective. I just wanted to get another pair of jeans. The jeans had been worn once and washed, but they were coming apart and I felt that was not indicative of a quality product that costs $72.00. The Manager was not on the premises. The Assistant Manager was condescending and would not give his name. He said this was Corporate policy. I asked for the District Manager's name and number and was told he could not give that information. He gave me a card with a 1-800 number for customer service in California. He said that was all he was obligated to do. I feel that this was poor customer service. I have never encountered a company where managers were not allowed to give their name, especially in retail. This tells me a lot about Hollister and none of it is good.
