This company offers FREE samples of their teeth whitener. You think you are paying for a small shipping fee only. However, if you scroll down to the bottom of the site( http://www.hollywoodbrite.com ) and click on a small link called Terms and Conditions, you will find hidden in three pages of type that:
You have 14 days to try the product starting from the day you order. You have to cancel the product within that 14 day period or else you will be charged $84.71 AND they will keep sending you the product and charging you every month! It also says you can cancel the product by mail, email or phone. However, they give no email address anywhere on the site, and their confirmation email is a "noreply" email. The mailing addresses they give are fake; there are two different addresses given on the site, and a third address on the return label of the package sent to you. All three addresses belong to real businesses... just not to Hollywood Brite (The addresses belong to: a Credit Bureau in Georgia; a Driving Academy in Nevada; and a Cosmetic Surgery firm in London, England). The phone number is also bogus--to a point. I tried calling it four days in a row and only got an answering machine which hung up on me without giving me the chance to talk to anyone or leave a message. I finally got a hold of them on the fifth day, and it was passed my 14 day trial. They would not refund the money. Also, though they advertise their company name as Hollywood Brite, the real name of the company is also found under the names: Kinetic Promotions LLC, Smart Kinetics LTD, and Kinetic Health. You're card is initially billed for the small shipping fee you agreed to... and in your billing statement it says "HLLYWDBRITE." But on the 15th day when you're hit with the bill for $84.71, the billing statement says: "DGL*TEETHWHITENER"... so it appears to be coming from a different company. While you try to figure it out, they will keep sending you more and charging you more until you contact them and cancel. EVEN IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE PACKAGE THEY WILL NOT ALLOW RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
VERY DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.
