10/12/08 I signed up and paid $1500.00 in advance for their Short Sale / Deed In Lieu negotiation service. Before signing up, they said they would review with the loss mitigation dept. and my lender to approve the Short Sale. They contacted me the next day quickly stating that their loss mitigation specialist, contacted my lender who has approved for me to move forward with the Short Sale. Later I found out that no one contacted my lender from HomeAssure, and they just lied to get me to sign agreement.

Also, Home Assure used deceptive tactics to lure me into their program, stating that their network of investors were standing by to make an offer on their short sale listings, but no such investor network existed as I later found out. The manager said that they had so many investors interested in purchasing short sales that they had to turn offers daily, and I had nothing to worry about, my home would get sold. I was assigned a real estate agent by Home Assure's 3rd party, who has been helpful to me in working with the lender.

But the funny part is that my AZ real estate agent never worked with Home Assure in the past, and had no knowledge of Home Assure investor network, working together to purchase short sales.

I hired Home Assure To:

1. their knowledge to negotiate a short sale contract or deed in lieu service

2. network of investors ready to purchase short sale property

12/8/08 I called my loss mitgator, but her phone was not working. Then their website www.homeassure.com and employee phone numbers also did not working. In fact, I believe they went out of business without informing any customers or refunding the money to everyone.

12/8/08 tried to contact Nick Molina, CEO but no response.
