Fraud
Again...Home Assure duped another. And that 'other' was me. Losing my home. I trusted this company. They took my 2000.00 and now, according to my real estate agent who found out, they are out of business and cannot be found. So cruel...people are so cruel! Yet still the guilt of being so ignorant as to fall for this scam artist and liars, atop with losing my home and the shame that comes with that...There is just no justice. No one to right the wrong. So sad for me and all who suffer the same fate. A very hard lesson to learn.

Fraud and scam
The company promised that they would negotiate with my mortgage lender to get me out of foreclosure. I had to complete the negotiations as our mediator completely abandoned us. After telling me that I could pay 50% up front, the company insisted on a full CASH payment being wired to them before they would do any work. The loan mediator that they assigned to our case did very little to help us. I asked to have a different mediator assigned but was told that was not possible. I had to negotiate the loan repayment plan with the lender without the mediator.

I have asked for a full or partial refund of the $2, 500 fee but have been ignored. Do not waste your money with this company. Do not send the full payment in advance.

Scam
I too was desperate to find myself with an adjusted ARM on my mortgage and to be late on a payment or two and located "Home Assure" online. I spoke with Chris McMinn multiple times before going through with overnighting my $5oo installment of the $1500 fee to assist me with my loan modification/and to assist me in saving my home.

Chris was such a nice guy on the phone and even after questioning him once about the validity of Home Assure and how often they were able to assist people, he goes, " I would never give out my cell phone number to people if they weren't able to be assisted." The only time that we cannot assist, is when we have people lie to us and they already have a "sale date", which makes it more difficult. However, I was always told that timing is of essence.

Once I paid the full $1500. I was assigned to Gordonna aka Donna Fountain in Charlotte, NC. Donna only sent me one email and never gave me another update on my status. After emailing both Donna & Chris and calling with no return phone calls, I received a letter of notice of Foreclosure from Saxon Mortgage, along with my sell date on my house.

I called Saxon and it appeared that they had my financial package in the system, but never had assigned it to a Negotiator. Mind you that the finanical package is what I put together, not Home Assure and basically threw $1500 out the door with no help.

I am working with Saxon, but they dropped the ball as well and are trying to escalate my information to a Negotiator to help me keep my house.

I will most likely lose my house now, and still be out of $1500 to Home Assure, however, I could've saved it, had I worked with my lender directly and not wasted time on these people scamming me.

Live and learn... I hope there is such a thing as Karma

Awful company

Terrible experience
After many months almost a year No emails No phone calls.I suppose I got one thing from home assure time. There phone call to the lender stopped foreclosure for a bit.But never got an agreement done. I wanted a refund and got an email from Michael Grego on how there doing there job its my fault that 'We will contact you weekly' email and notify you on your options. Well I was in foreclosure but my lender made a program Reached out to me and I am set.

I don't ever expect a refund and neither should anybody. The will just file Bankruptcy go out of business. And start over. They did not do as promised not even a letter to say we cant help that would have been the decent thing to do.

Scam and fraud
I was in trouble with my lender, Countrywide. I didn't know what to do and I went online and found HOMEASSURE. I spoke to a representative named Neil. He was what I call compassionate to my needs and understanding to my situation. I explained in detail about what I was dealing with and that a sale date had been issued and I didn't know what to do. He told me that he would pretend he didn't hear about the sale and he would help me work out an agreement with my lender. The fee was $1500.00. I filled out the paperwork and faxed it to the representative. He told me not to worry a mitigator would begin the process immediately. He also stated the mitigator would call me right away. Well I bought a certified check and sent it over night. I talked to them the next day and they had my money and call it a miracle they already had a workout in place and my mitigator would be calling me. I thought I was safe. I asked for the mitigators name and number and was given Penny and her number. I called her and told me herself she had never spoke to Countrywide yet and we didn't have an agreement yet. I explained what I had been told by the rep and she told me he was honest. I have since worked out my issue with my lender, ON MY OWN with no help from home assure. I have repeatedly emailed and called many different people and they will not call me back. I get emails telling my a 'workout' agreement will be mailed by the 2nd week of September, thats 2 weeks after my sale date. They will not or have not yet responded to my request for a full refund. They ignore me. They know what they have done is wrong. They know they mislead people. I even have a nasty voice mail on my home phone from the rep but that is it. I think there needs to be some justice here and they need to refund people their money.
