Google search "Home Direct Shipping Amazon" and look at all those reviews. Hey, at least they're consistent!!
I wish I had know that Home Direct was going to ship (or hold, or never deliver, or avoid calling to schedule an appt, or whatever they ultimately end up doing with) my TV before I had purchased it. While both Amazon and Home Direct customer service has been helpful and made effort to reach the courier, each time I they contact the courier - apparently outsourced by Home Direct- I get that the courier "promises to call you this afternoon to schedule deliver" Well that has been promised for 3 straight days and courier never calls to schedule delivery. Maybe he meant "I promise not to call for 3 days."
I'm finding that the $100 I saved by purchasing from Amazon is now not worth the grief of fooling around with this shipping fiasco. Well I PROMISE- and I don't misuse that word- that I will give these idiots one more day to deliver it then I will have Amazon issue an RA. I suppose if enough people issue RAs Amazon will get the message and finally end up abandoning these morons.
The only thing I'm confident about is that Home Direct SUCKS. PS. Save the canned "we're so sorry" propaganda and sell it up the street, I'm not buying it here.
