racist manager
There a manager in tjmaxx by the name Mr.Don. He is very rude to his employee and he is very racist. He do not like black people and i am a witness to it .That day i was in TJMAXX, i was standinng behind a black girl that was nicely dress and very well groomed. she had brought back a return without a receipt. when the cashier ring up her total, she call a manager up front by the name Mr.Don. he look at the item and told that he couldnt take the item back, because they didnt come from there and she said, well my friend said that this is where these item come from and plus they had a TJMAXX TICKET on them. As awitness i new he was lieing to her and i think it was because she was black. Because before she was up there, there was a white woman in front of her with about 300 hundred dollars worth of merchandise without a receipt and he sign the return, and walk off. But this girl return was just alittle over a 100 dollars. What im trying to say is, all people should be treated equal no matter what color they are. The black girl was very upset about the situation when she left out without a gift card. When she left out i know that the item she had did come from TJMAXX. So when she left out, he had the nerves to say, all they do is steal and expect to return it. I know what meant by that, so after i got a refund, i told him you better be very careful about what you say, cause your going to get a law suit against TJMAXX, and their not going to like that.I told him everybody is not a racist like you. HIS NAME IS MR.DON, HE IS A MANAGER AT TJMAXX IN THE NORTHLITTLEROCK, ARKANSAS STORE.You all might need to check on this soon as possible, before you all end up getting suesed because he a racist. THANKYOU, VERYMUCH. A VERY CONCERN CUSTOMER

Terrible customer service
I found a beautiful wall hanging made from shells. It was the last one and parts of it were scraped. I decided to see if it could be marked down. When I went to the register I showed the clerk and she tried to clean it off and couldn't. She asked another employee what he thought and he took it to another clerk who was ringing someone else up and she loudly said "use your judgement, wait no, I don't see anything, I'm not marking off for that". This employees name was Karen and I had complained about her to my sister who I was with twice during this shopping trip because she was yelling at other employees about not doing things correctly. When we were in line I even told my sister that I hoped not to get the lady who was yelling when it was my turn to be rung up. I didn't, but she was now brought into my situation. I went back and forth with her while she was two registers down and continued to ring people up. I told her I wanted to speak with her boss because of the way she was yelling and she said you can wait ten minutes until Lisa comes back. I told her I couldn't because I had a broken foot and could not continue to stand. Then a fourth employee came in and looked at it. In addition to the scratches, there was a part along the edge that was completely cracked and broken so this employee gave me ten percent off. I go to homegoods all the time and I have never had a problem. Karen was not only rude to me and yelling at me, she was to her co workers also!

Bad service
I tried retuning a Christmas gift I bought for my daughter, since it was ill-fitting. Alex, the cashier, walked away with my item, over to the opposite counter, then to the other end of the store towards the door, and then started holding up my returned item to a gathering of HomeGoods employees before retuning to the cash register (where I was waiting some kind of communication as to what was the matter). Alex (the cashier) proceeded to call out to another employee to take my returned item to the back of the store to verify that it was their item, without explaining to me what was happening, or why I left waiting at the checkout with a word. Alex became rude stating that if I had nothing to be guilty about then, I shouldn't worry, that I would be reimbursed. I was treated with total disrespect. Alex became abusive when I told him that I felt disrespected as a customer.
