This company says they can get your mortgage modified to a low fixed rate. They guarantee in writing if they accept you as a client they will get your mortgage modified or they will refund your money. They charge you $3000.00 in 3 equal payments. We paid them and after 3 months they said the mortgage company wouldn't work with them b/c we were not behind in our payments so they told us to stop making payments. They promised that they would not let it ruin our credit or foreclose on our house. 4 months later the mortgage company started foreclosure and Home Legal Source said they could not help us. I was smart enough to keep back the money for the house payments and sent it to the mortgage company and made payment arrangements for the legal fees to stop the foreclosure. We have repeatedly requested our refund but have not received it. We went to arbitration here in Texas but the owner said they could not come b/c they were in California but they had all intentions of giving us our refund, they were just behind in getting the refunds out. It has been over a year and we still have not received our refund even though we keep calling them. Stay away from this company. They won't help you. I have heard of others that used them and lost their house.
