fraud making homes affordable refinance
We applied for a Making Homes Affordable bank modification offered with govenment funded money back in early 2008 through Country Wide but Bank of America obtained the contract eventully. As of 2011 we are still awaiting some type of assistance. We had orginally lived in the home until late 2010 when we were finally forced to move for work opportunities. We had been given every excuse for denial while we lived in the home even one that my spouse was not working but did get unemployment yet to BAC that is not a true income. Most recently we are denied again for not living in home now. We had wanted to rent it out to keep property but BAC said unexceptable. Keep in mind there is no foreclosure done on property as of now nor even scheduled to be but they broke in and secured the home as theres. We even did a short sale option on home as suggested by them and got an offer to pay off all debt except 10, 000.00 again BAC messed it up and the buyer walked away. As of now they have forced us to file a bankruptcy on the place or let them foreclose eventually. Our home is one whose value stayed steady during the market crash and has been all updated with new everything. How can this bank get away with such malicious business practices? Our credit rating before dealing with them was over 730. They have distroyed our family financially for many many years to come. Limiting obtaining college funding for children to the fact that we are nearly homeless as no one wants to rent to a family who does not have good credit now or a previous rental history. My youngest is two years old.
