My wife and I have built several new homes and have never been treated so poorly in all our lives. We had so many problems it is hard to list them all. We have threats of being sued from sub contractors that have not paid them and are looking for money from us, just for starters. The building inspector in North Saint Paul told us that in all his life he has never written so many code violations on one house! The job foreman (Steve) was so shady that he thought he could pull the wool over our eyes all the time. We had doors installed crooked and out of plumb, He came in and bent the hinge pins so the doors would stop closing by themselves instead of installing the doors correctly. The trim work has large gaps all over the place, the doors won't open or close hardly at all, the floor is buckling and creaking, the door handles are installed upside down on 6 doors, the furnace will not heat the upstairs past 65 degrees, the air conditioning wont cool upstairs much at all, the floor drain in the basement was cemented over, the kids bedrooms are so cold in the winter we had to add electric heaters in all the upstairs rooms. The first day we moved in, I took shower and heard water running on the floor. I went downstairs into the kitchen and found water pouring out of the ceiling lights!!! The plumbers forgot to solder the pipes together inside the walls, so they cut the walls apart and the ceiling on our 10 hour old house to find the leak! DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE!!
