The home serice store ( HSS) operates threw Lumber Liquidators to offer installation. They claim to offer a warranty of one year. That is laughable at best. What happens is that if a customer has a complaint they call HSS and HSS send the original installer out to fix the issue. That is the way it should be, but HSS has no part in it. The only advantage to having HSS involved with lumber liquidators is to offer a way of paying with a credit card. HSS charges the installers 15% of the installation total and does not back the installation company up. There buisness is based on contractors going out and doing the work based completely on there credit score, and nothing to do with there knowlage of the product(s). Lumber Liquidators needs to dismiss HSS. To put it in simple terms would you prefer to use a contractor or friend to provide your installation? somone with experince and the personal conviction to do a good job? or would you rather be pushed into using who somone else says you must use?
All you need to be certified threw HSS is insurance and a average credit score. Customers beware of the lies and missleading information that is HSS.
