ate November or early December I ordered the Kentwood Round Dining Table with 4 leaves from Home Time Furniture. I was thrilled to learn that I would receive a 20% discount for using American Express to make the purchase and I promptly placed the order. I was to get free delivery and white glove service. The table was due to arrive mid January. Well, here is near the end of January and we have received an email saying they are canceling the order and refunding my money. They discovered a computer glitch and are shutting down for 30 days to do inventory. WHAT????? I cannot phone them and their online customer service is off line, therefore you can't make contact. However, I noticed that the website is still up and it appears one can still place an order (even though they said no orders could be placed for 30 days). What company shuts down for 30 days? Inventory does not take that long. What is really happening? In the meantime, I have no table for my new home. To replace the table will take another 6 weeks, or more, not to mention the increase in cost. While I appreciate the fact that I at least got my money returned, I am still extremely disappointed with this company. I had planned to buy many furnishings from them over the curse of the year. Now I am not sure who to trust. (I had similar bad luck with another round table, but at least it was discontinued, not just dropped from delivery.)
