No helpful result
I recently called Homecomings Financial in need of support, they connected me to different employees; from the collection dept., to the refinancing dept., with no helpful result. I spoke with Mrs. Carrie, Mrs. Mel, Mrs. Mary Ann, Mr. David, Mr. Wilson, Melchionda Loan Officer and finally Mrs. Lakina from the legal dept. for a loan modification.
After a lengthy conversation, explaining my financial hardship and present circumstances the answer was, "Sell your home, we'll take the lost."
My advise to everyone: lets call our Attorney Generals Office, lets file a complaint and a class action lawsuit.
I'm in Sanford, FL. and my name is Bermudez.
Let the chips fall where they may, and in this case Homecomings house of cards will fall on them, I'm ready.

Good for nothing
They are crooks! Once you give them money you'll never see it again. They are the worst I've ever had to deal with. When you call they seldom answer, and the few times they do - you get lied to or they give you the run around. They are unethical, rude and impossible to deal with. They need to be stopped. I highly encourage for everyone to take them to court or whatever it takes so that others wont get scammed by these *******! That’s what I'm doing. I hope others do the same. We need to send a message.

Beware of them
I submitted a bid for a foreclosed property in GA the agent broke his ethics code by not only telling me our bid was the highest but he also told me the buyers name. I am not only pissed but angry as well.. Be very weary of homecomings wrong doings.
I am almost positive it was the buddy system working and I think it was also illegal.

Mortgage rates
I have a home loan with homecomings which they bought from another company in November of 2005. Homecomings was not my initial mortgage company. Now my adjustable interest rate is going out of control and I cannot refinance with another company or with homecomings for a fixed rate. Its like they are trying to force me out of my home. Is there any help out there for desperate people like me. Since my loan is with homecoming is it not possible for them to refinance my loan to a fix rate that way I can be able to afford to keep my home.

Fraud and scam
Homecomings had us 3 days from being vacated out of our home and they gave no notice of default, foreclosure, and never sent statements. We would have been without a home. We paid our mortgage in full in CASH and now they won't release our deed even though they agree to do so in writing. the home is ours paid in full and they are still playing games!! We were charged with erroneous fees (drive by inspections in excess of 6 per month) we were not notified of an increase in our rate but they sure took our money!
If anyone knows what can be done to obtain my deed which is rightfully mine now that I have paid them off, please respond. The people at Homecomings, and GMAC do not give a hoot about taking people's homes from them illegally. I am not quite sure how these people sleep at night.

Horrible company
I really do not know were to start with my complaint their is so much to be said about Homecomings!!! I know for sure that I would never recommend anyone to use this company for a home loan or any other loan for that matter. I have had a loan paid off with this company for the last two in a half years and still it has been nothing but a nightmare that is never ending. I have not been able to get them to list the correct comments on my credit report or get them to give me the proper information that's needed so that I can have the credit reports fixed myself. This company scams hardworking, honest people right out of their homes messing their credit, lives and so many other things. I can not believe that companies are allowed to do such things to people and get away with it. They never return your phone call nor do they respond to faxes or emails for that matter. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN and we all need to get money back that was loss from Homecomings Financial. HOMECOMINGS FINANCIAL SUCKS.

They do not care
About a year and a half ago, I had some family issue and fell behind one month with my mortgage payment. At that time I called and told them that I had a problem and was asking if they could put that payment in the back so it would not continue to show on my credit report as a late payment. Every time I call all they can tell me you need to cut back on you expenses. What expenses I ask? My expenses consist of necessity, food, utilities, and childcare (excluding cable, telephone and internet). I told them that I don't spend my money on anything expect the things I need. I don't have cable or any of that luxury. The rep then said you should put the property up for sale or call us back when you can make the payment. As I said I have been trying for over a year and my credit is ruined with late payments all because of that one month. Since that time, I have never missed a payment since.
I just cannot believe that they are so unwilling to help all they are interest in is collecting the money and really don't care about any situation that may prevent someone from making mortgage payment.

They screwed us
My husband and I were also victims of homecomings financial. We ended up losing our house and now we’ve read its been sold but homecomings wont return my phone calls. We asked for help repeatedly after the company I had been with for 5 years cut their hours but of course they couldn’t help. Instead they charged us ungodly late fees and interest on late payments. We have never been treated so horribly in all our lives. How can a company do that to a family? I hope they get what they rightfully deserve. We now rent because our credit which was in the 700s is now trash. Sincerely outraged in Iowa.

An Established Pattern of Abuse by Homecomings Financial
Over the past six months, my account has been systematically
forced into delinquency by the predatory servicing practices of
Homecomings Financial. These events are well documented and
plainly indicate a deliberate effort by Homecomings to expedite
the foreclosure of my home. CASE IN POINT:
My online account is routinely unavailable- usually on or around
my payment date- which prevents me from using their electronic
system. Billing information is inaccurate or out of date and any
attempt I make to bring my account current is counteracted by
such tactics as delaying or reversing payments, applying them
retroactively to cover those they've delayed or reversed and
refusing payments that would cure the default.
Also well documented are my repeated attempts to get assistance
through their fictitious Loss Mitigation process- a calculated series
of roadblocks erected to create a paper trail for the company while keeping me from recourse by making it appear as if I'm unresponsive to their contrived outreach efforts. CASE IN POINT:
They continually send letters requesting that I call to discuss my
options, schedule meetings or fax information but when I do, I'm
referred to someone who's on vacation, my call is dropped during
transfer, appointments are no longer available or my fax is never
received.
Their methods are transparent and though I find it unbelievable
that a company would victimize it's customers so ruthlessly, the
facts speak for themselves. There are hundreds of complaints on
the internet and in the courts from similarly situated individuals
who's experiences establish a pattern of abuse by Homecomings
that insures the company's profits at the expense of the borrower.
I have filed complaints with the FTC, the Attorney General, the BBB and various other regulatory agencies and I urge anyone who has, or suspects they have been victimized by this company to follow suit. I don't know if we can save our homes but perhaps we can prevent further harm by demanding that Homecomings take
responsibility for their devastating actions and address the situation appropriately.
