LG washer/dryer Homdepot black friday Scam
Placed the order at HomeDepot on LG 2501WHA/DLEX2501 Washer/Dryer on Nov 27 2010, and got delivery date on Dec 18.
on Dec 17, they said they cannot get it and postpone to Jan 14, 2011.
Wait to next year until Jan 12, got a phone call said has to postpone to Jan 21, The 2501 are no longer in production, so they "upgrade" to 3360HWCA, and LG told me would be available on Jan 21, 2011. On Jan 18, got another phone call said got another postpone to Jan 27.
I went to HomeDepot and asked them if Jan 27 is a sure delivery date and I told them LG 3360HWCA is not available for 90days in my area on www.homedepot.com. HomeDepot guy asked the LG and LG told them the washer/dryer will be sure delivery on Jan 27. (BTW: check the bestbuy website, and the same mode will delivery within a week at my area)
Today I call back ( They won't me this time) to check the delivery date. Got delayed again. Temp delivery date is Feb 4.
What's the hell, they lied in front of your face and intentionally do not commit the promise. Never go back with LG/Homedepot.

Lost Store Credit Card - HD will not re-issue
First: I have spent over $10, 000 at the HomeDepot in Ashburn, VA over the past year. From now on, I will shop at Lowes.
This is due to me not being allowed to be reissued a store credit card, as my wallet was stolen. Amount of store credit was $419.29.
I went to the store and was told they could do nothing and to call the 800 number. This I did and was told that the store credit was like cash.
This is F'ing BS. In this day of computers, customer service could easily find this amount from that store and on that date as I had the receipt - along with the last 4 digits of the issued card to me.
And i know that these cards are tracked within the HD system as I used one card at different stores in the past.
So because HD cannot reissue a card as they do not value their customers, I pray their sales will plummet.

Carpet Measuring and Pricing
I went to Home Depot for pricing on new carpet and received what I thought was a good price for Stainmaster carpet. The salesman said it would be 50.00 dollars for the measuring and that it would be deducted from the total price if we purchased the carpet. I asked if the measurements would be available to us and the salesmen said they would call me to come by and get the measurements and the final quote. I asked the kid that came out to measure, how long it would take to get my measurements and he said usually a couple of days. I went to Home Depot for the final quote and was told i could not get the measurements unless I was going to purchase the carpet from them. After a long heated argument with employees and management they finally agreed to give me all the measurements and the cost break down. The measurements included 2 extra closets we didn't have and also was being charged for the wrong carpet. The padding was different than the one we selected and the installation charge was not the 39.00 quoted for the whole house, regardless of size. When I told there sales person about all the mistakes she said what difference does it make if your not going to purchase it from us. I called the corporate office to complain and a few days later got a call back from someone that did not say much but that they would look into the matter. I received numerous calls from sales reps asking if i was still interested in getting the carpet without any remorse for what they had put me through. I looked around and found a compatible carpet at another place and payed 4000.00 less than what Home Depot quoted me.

rebate
OnMay 12th 2008 I bought gas cloths dryer that was delivered the next day. There was to be a refund /rebate of the delivery. I sent for rebate ..On May 19th 2008 I called to confirm rebate was told it would take a week tried to
contact store manager Erich Schulz who refuses to contact me the rebate was to be $59.00 this company has no consern for customer service .. order no.4101-338083

Raising interest on credit cards
In these tough economic times when the government is lowering interest rates homedepot has decided to raise theirs... as if they weren't high enough... now trying to cover the high costs of everything else and coming up with enough money to pay them extra to try bringing down your balance is even tougher...
well guess what homedepot never again!!! I for one boycott your store and will prompt everyone I know to do the same...
Do I care if your company fails? yeah about as much as your company cares about it's customers... NEVER MORE HOMEDEPOT!!!

Cancellation request
On June 1st, 2006 I placed an order on Homedepot.com. I had also placed other orders with different companies that day that were for bulkier items (like a fridge and an a/c unit) and I received those in a week's time. I kept trying to track my order on Homedepot.com tracking page and for over 2 weeks, it said the same thing. 'Order is being processed in our warehouse'. 14 days after I placed the order, I called their customer service. She didn't know much but put in a request to the warehouse to show was going on and ask that I call back 24-48 hours. 2 days later, I called and got a very rude woman who was so useless and snippy with me with her lack of wanting to give me information that I went from wanting to track my order to telling her I wanted to cancel my order. She said that she would put in the 'request' to cancel it but if they shipped it, it was too late. I asked her if there was someone else I could talk to about this and she said 'No, there is no one else'. Two days later, I called to make sure the order had been cancelled. This CSR was more helpful, said that it didn't show any request had been filed and that it shipped today but since there was no tracking number it was probably still there but she was transferring my call to the head office because they knew more (gee, I guess I was lied to about anyone else I could talk to). So, I talked to Jill (after being on hold for 25 minutes!!!). She said that it showed it was shipped today but they didn't have a tracking number for it. The funny thing is, I had a feeling this would happen. I felt like I was being dragged around, they purposely made canceling an order extremely difficult when ordering a product can be done with a press of a button. I don't understand that in an age where satellites, Internet, phones, faxes and emails exists, why in the blazes would it take so this long to process a cancellation request? Sounds fishy to me.
