I found out I need a surgery that if I do not have I could die. My husband thought he had found a legitimate cheap insurance through these peopl. They have lied to him and me the entire time. No one knows who the main company is. I am well aware of ppo's and what not. I talked to at least 3 people tonight and all had different ideas of who held the insurance that was bought this morning. First they told me National Union was an underwriter to United Health Care. Then they changed it to Beechstreet and Homeland Health. Then it ended up being Homeland and Multiplan. On top of that it started out covering my suregery, then covering it some what, to finally not covering at all...
This is a surgery I have to have and they were going to trick me into getting insurance they knew would not cover me and then told me I had to keep my current insurance that excludes everything to do with the surgery and still pay for theirs on top of that.
I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND LIED TOO. YOU WOULD DO WELL TO STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
I have to wait and see if I get my deposit back now. Who only knows!!! If I do not get my money back BBB will be hearing from me. You took advantage of someone who need's a blessing in her life and took advantage of my husband who can be to trusting. Do not let them ambush you at work where you can not talk a lot. My first sign something was wrong was when I asked for proof in my insurance that actually said there were no exclusions to getting my surgery. Thomas could not provide it because he already mailed it. Have they never heard of copying something before you mail it! Let alone this is an insurance company and they should be smart enough to back up everything. What if it never mad eto my house?!?! What there is no other copy some where! Do not be fooled by these people.
