Product not delivered though payment was made
I had placed an order for one 1.5 Ton Voltas Vetris 2 Star Window AC from Homeshop18 on 14/4/2010 vide order No. 703467542 for Rs.18000/-. I was foolish enough and have made payment of Rs.18000/- through my Credit Card as I was informed by the customer care of Homeshop18 that the product would be delivered at the most within 6-10 days. On verification from the "Track Your Order" option of the Homeshop18, I could see the information that the consignment has been handed over to the Courier. This is the position for the last 10-15 days. On enquiry over phone (29/4/2010), the customer care informed me that as the consignment is big and heavy, arrangements are being made to get it delivered locally, instead of sending it through courier. Then again on 30/4/2010 another lady executive rang me up and informed that the delay is due some problem going with Voltas Company, but now everything has been solved and the AC would be sent after necessary packing, and for that due care will be taken since the product is heavy and big, through courier within a day or 2 and I would be informed over SMS about the Courier Company, dispatch No. etc. and the AC would definitely be delivered latest by 3rd May, 2010. But till date the position is the same, and I am waiting for the delivery.

One strange thing is that none of the customer care personnel know about the actual position. They have been trained to give wrong information. The "Track Your Order" position informs that the Consignment has been handed over to the Courier Company; one customer care official informs that the product would be delivered locally and then another customer care executive informs that the problem is with the Voltas Company who has failed to deliver the product.

One thing Homeshop18 should remember is that I have already paid for the product and they have not yet delivered the same within the time frame, which is not good business. Moreover, they should never give false assurance, and they should do their homework correctly, before giving any information to the customers. The next thing is that they should never advertise for selling any product, if they are not able to deliver it within the set time. They are not doing good business, which is a shame for them, in spite of all the big names that are sponsoring them.

I only hope they will send the AC in the perfect condition, but God Knows When. My advice to the other shoppers, NEVER BUY ONLINE, because all these online companies do not keep their word. NEVER, NEVER fall into their TRAP and buy online. Spend a few rupees more and buy from a reliable shop from your town or locality and have peace of mind.

I shall wait for a few days more and then take necessary legal action against Homeshop18.

Order not recieved
I have ordered a Microoven on 22/Feb/2010 and the order number is 702889457, they have promissed to deliver this production in 10 days and even today (14/03/2010) I have not recived. I have made the payment by Credit card and I do not find any contact number nor support email ID on their website. This is very very poor service to customers.

Wrong product delivery
Wrong consignment delivered
Ordered a Mitashi DVD Player from Homeshop18. The package was delivered to me on18/11/09 against cash of Rs.4999. Unfortunately, it contains only a bag and colour crayons/pencils instead of the Mitashi DVD Player. I contacted one Mr. Mitul Verma at their call centre (complaint No. 2348976). I was informed that it will take 10-15 working days for resolving the matter whatever may be the case: product or refund. I suggested him to take up the matter with courier immediately and ask him to collect the package from me and pay back my money latest by tomorrow. Why should I suffer for the fault of Homeshop18?

One Mr. Piyush Sharma from Mitashi (09819222619) contacted on the same day to follow up the complaint and assured that the courier will pick up the package next day but money will be refunded by Homeshop 18 by chq after mitashi confirmation of receiving the package back.
On 25/11/09, I contacted Mr. Piyush Sharma again and he asked for another 2-3 days for arranging pickup but no developments thereafter.
On 30/11/09 sent following message through the online feedback (No. 2421625) from Homeshop18 site.

"Despite my complaint dt 18th nov and seeking the refund of my money immediately, neither the wrongly delivered package has been picked up from my addressed nor the money has been refunded to me. Mr. piyush Sharma from Mitashi is assuring me of this for past 10 days yet there is no action. It is none of my concern whether the package is picked up or not, I want my Rs4999 refunded to me immediately. Please note this is the final notice to Homeshop18 as well as Mitashi requesting for the refund within next 5 days. Failing which I will be taking suitable legal action for the refund and damages at your cost and consequences."

On 02/12/09, contacted Mr. Piyush Sharma of Mitashi was assured of action once again yet no action till date ie 08/12/09

Non delivery of product!
They are not bothered about the delivery of the product if the payment is made in advance. Here is the story. I ordered a creative Zen Plus 1gb mp3 player from the site and made the whole payment through card on 30th Nov, 2007. As per the website i should get the product in 5-10 days. But its 13 January, 2008 and i haven't received the product yet. I sent an email and called up twice. Their executive said "the courier returned back as you were not home".

Now this is the second product i have ordered. the first product i bought was a headphone. I opted for Payment on delivery.
1. the courier man called me up 3 times to get the product( because he was to get the payment from me).
2. the mobile number is written on the delivery box.

But this time no one called up. i cant be home at all time. so they have to cal us to confirm. I have ordered many products from other sites and sources but never got this kind of service.

They are fraud!!!
