I ordered flowers to arrive on Mothers Day too (there were not many companies
that promissed Sunday delivery). The "beautiful arrangement" (see below) was
not delivered on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Then I called them and
cancelled the order. It was not the end; they called next day: "what to do with your order".
TWICE I received the following pairs of identical messages. I expected the
third on Wednesday but they stopped responding.
"Due to the Mother's Day holiday, after contacting all flower shops in the area, we were unable to find any flower shops that we felt had the quality of flowers that would meet your satisfaction and standards.
We would like to be able to fill your order tomorrow (Monday, then Tuesday) when we know our premium shops will have fresh flowers to deliver. Please let us know if you will allow us to deliver your beautiful arrangement tomorrow with an apology note from Honest Florist or if you wish to have your order canceled.
Please reply to this email and let us know how you wish to proceed with your order.
We sincerely, apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
followed by:
"Thank you for choosing Honest Florist to take care of your important order. Here is the latest update on the delivery of your gift: We have received your email, and will proceed with the delivery of your order to for
Monday May 10, 2010 (then for Tuesday) ."
An interesting company. I like it: "... that would meet your satisfaction and standards".
