Charged for items not ordered!
I answered an ad on internet for 10 day free trial supply. All I had to do was pay the shipping and handling charge. I did with my debit card. My account was hit two times for shipments of 69.95 each twice before I received my bank statement and found the charges. It's an exorbitant price if I did want the product, which I don't. I tried to contact them by mail and my correspondence was returned "undeliverable". My bank is reviewing the dispute, but I still don't have my money back. It was in December that it happened to me.

Unauthorized billing!
This company used my credit card info & billed me $69.95 of which it was unauthorized. What a rip off. This is illegal and something needs to be done.

Scammers and crooks!
Scam--beware. You must give your credit card number to receive "free trial" Hoodia. I canceled within the specified time frame and was still sent a $69.95 bottle of Hoodia Complex with Green Tea. Called my credit card company to have the charge removed and was told I was dealing with a 'foreign' company and the merchandise would have to be returned. Even with a Las Vegas shipping address the parent company is located in the Caribbean which is a way around United States laws. After staying on hold for over 30 minutes for an address for a return because their web-site states "no returns accepted", I hung up.
Documented every detail of the return to the USA address and again contacted my credit card company. Still in the process of having the $69.95 charge removed. You've been warned.

Unauthorized charges!
Numerous complaints! I ordered the free sample and agreed to shipping charges. I just noticed that a few weeks after this charge I was charged $69.95 for another shipment. That was 10 days ago and I have not received the shipment yet and I DID NOT ORDER IT! When I called the 800 number they said they would stop future orders but that I agreed to more shipments when I ordered the free sample. The bottle came with no information or reminder that I needed to cancel. I find this very misleading and quite a scam. I'm embarrassed that I fell for it. And to top it all off - the product isn't even 100% Hoodia. WHAT A RIP OFF!

Unrequested monthly shipments!
I, too ordered 1 bottle of Hoodia Complex with my credit card. I at no time agreed to other monthly shipments of this product. Since that time I have received a monthly shipment of this product along with a 69.95 monthly charge to my credit card. I have repeatedly tried to contact this company to no avail. Phone number of 1-800-597-8654 gives you a voice mail telling you to call back during regular business hours, even when I am calling during their supposed regular business hours. I have filled out a complaint with my credit card company disputing these charges. Companies like this should be investigated and not allowed to conduct business such as this

Withdrew funds without notification!
Absolute scam through paid television advertisement. If I knew what station I would report them also. There should be laws against fraudulent companies advertising on national networks.

Withdrew monies no authorization!
I gave them my card to take 5.00 out for shipping nothing else and when i went to check my card balance they had with drew 69.00 and had sent me more hoodia which I didn't want. I didn't authorize and order for a withdrawal of 69.00 out of my account so I sent the item back 2 days after I received it 01/05/08, and notified my credit card holder and in the package I sent back to them I demanded the money back into my account.

Scam and fraud!
I was so glad to see the same complaint about Hoodia I have. Now I know I'm not the only one who went through it and hopefully can get my money back as well. I to ordered the free sample off the internet and just paid shipping and handling. About a week later I received a larger bottle of 60 capsules and a charge of 69.95 on my check card. VERY UPSET!!! Now I have to monkey around with getting my money back. I actually liked the product and considered purchasing more, but not now. Not a good way to get a product out there! Thank you for this web site.
