I recently saw 'Undercover Boss' where Hooters was featured. I saw mostly positive things about the company and seems like any other average american restaurant. I am angry that CEO Coby Brooks decided to keep manager 'Jimbo' after his inappropriate expolitation of his staff. Jimbo is a disgusting man, a liability, and makes the WHOLE company look terrible. Keeping someone like Jimbo who would knowingly act that way on camera makes it look like that behavior is 'not that big of a deal'. I f Hooters will put people like that in charge than Hooters is not that great of a place to work because you will keep an obnoxious manchild who gets his jollies from degrading young girls. I am 27 and if Jimbo told me to snort a plate of beans I would have told him to go piss up a rope. I am disappointed in this company. Jimbo should have been FIRED. Instead he got a slap on the wrist. The company was on national television and it would have reflected better on Hooters and would have helped your image if you had taken a firmer stand against such disgraceful unprofessionalism. That behavior is absolutely unacceptable! He has not changed and it is only a matter of time before an employee files a lawsuit for harassment.

I went in and ate at the local hooters around the corner from my house... I sat down and did not get greeted for almost an entire song! Than after looking like I had disturbed the WAITRESS, she took my order and never returned to the table! She just sat with another table of gentlemen and ignored us. Must be nice to do a crappy job and still get to keep it!

On December 11, 2009 @ 8:45pm. Myself, my husband & my sister stopped there for some wings & drinks, to have a good time. We sat on the outside. Our so called waitress (Crystal) if she had blonde hair, took our drinks & She took my husband & my order but not my sisters. Had to hunt her down to place my sisters order. Crystal did not come back to our table once, after that. To see if we needed anything, any drinks, any condiments, how is the food? NOTHING. The food was disgusting right along with Crystal. I watched her to see how long it would take her to come back to our table, she never did. Trying to schmooze the drunks that were there, another waitress passed by (She had brunette hair). Our table even turned our glass upside down, showing that we would like another. At that time it was 9:50pm, we asked for the manager. Low & behold, who I thought was a customer, was the manager. The manager was hanging right along w/the drunks, & w/Crystal the whole time. Told him what happened, he took everything off but the drinks. Crystal then had the nerve to ask do we want another drink... LOL!!! I had my hand out for my change & Crystal put it on the table instead.

I am so disappointed with the way my boyfriend and I were treated at Hooters. I went in to the West Covina location on 8/8/09 around 5:30pm and we were seated in a reserved area. My date and I only knew it was reserved because there was a sign taped to the table, but none of the hosts or waitresses bothered to give us a courtesy heads up that at 6:30 we would have to move, or leave. At 6:35 one waitress, not ours, came to the table to ask us to "hurry up and finish" because that table was reserved, after she saw our confused face she asked if anyone had notified us and I told her no, no one said anything but we did read the sign, and then she walked away. Within five minutes a tall manger can and leaned over to my date and said, " I’m sorry folks this table is reserved your going to need to vacate." At no time were we offered to be relocated or even asked if we wanted our check. I asked him if we could be relocated since our drinks were still full and our sampler plate half full, and as he hesitated he said, "Well I guess I can do that." That angered my date and I more after being harassed so frequently, and we said never mind we will leave. Yet still no one offered to give us our check. Finally we asked a waitress passing by for the bill (but we really should have just not paid and "vacated") and then our waitress came, but before we got the bill, yet another girl came to the table to ask us to leave and this time with security.

Its unfortunate that they treated us this way. It was actually my boyfriends birthday and we have asked several of our friends to meet us there later that night to celebrate, and we immediately spread the word of Hooters West Co. and their rudeness. As we walked out I saw that the party waiting for our table was a party of two. I really hope that that party was worth losing a potential thirsty and hungry party of ten, and severe word of mouth damage.

Do you know what it feels like to be avoided by most Hooter girls and not
talked to frequently? I am a regular at Hooters in Chester, VA and
lately the take-out girl would not take my order or ask me what I wanted.
She walked by me a few times not saying one word to me and sat down
with the other Hooter girls at their table leaving me standing there waiting
for nothing. What kind of treatment is this? Isn't Hooter girls supposed to
be friendly and out-going, you know talk to people, be nice too!
I complained to the manager and he was no help because it seems he
gave her orders not to serve me from my understanding in the conservation.
I hardly ever get a nice, warm Hooters greeting coming in the door and most
of the girls avoid looking at me.
I do not go to Hooters to watch TV and sit there by myself. I can have a better
time at the mall or get better service at McDonalds. The Hooter girls are
supposed to sit down and spend a little time with you--------to make sure you
are having a good time there. Yes, I will watch TV too, but not just watch TV!
Most of the girls do not even say Hi! to me and when they are doing
nothing, I will be lucky if one Hooter girl comes over and asks me how
everything is going. I could be sitting almost right next to their table too!
I haven't been treated this badly anywhere else in the country or abroad.
It seems that some managers only care about the revenue and I was
lectured by a Hooters girl about how much I should be spending there
and it was better for me to sit at the bar instead of the tables; this is an
insult to me. I have spent a lot of money there and this is what I receive
in return? Ironically, the girls want to see big tips and it doesn't matter
what you think about their service.
I can order coffee and they give it to me black without asking if I need milk
or sugar. I usually have to go to the bar and order my food/drinks so I am
not waiting for 45 minutes with nothing to eat/drink. There were times
I sat there for 2-3 hours and nobody came by to ask me if I needed my
drink re-filled. I do not need to be treated like I do not exist there.
What do you have to do for a Hooters girl to like you? (Give them a $20
dollar bill?) ----Hooters girls are supposed to provide friendly, fun,
hospitality and I do not see it here in Chester, VA. I am thinking about
not going there anymore because I hate leaving there not happy.
Where is the friendly, nice, warm Hooters hospitality and service they
are famous for? Some really girls have left there because of a certain
manager who they do not like; another manager quit too! He would
talk to me a lot and the others do not------will not say anything to me.
I think I should eat before I arrive there, at least I will not be hungry.
