My experience with HOPKINS APPLIANCE was HORRIFIC! They came to "repair" an electrical malfunction in my 18 month old JENN AIR convection oven today. about a month ago it caught on fire and JIM came out to "look" and then proceeded to order "parts". After JIM installed the part he left. The unit was left on the island in my kitchen and we were left to put the oven back in the wall housing and also reinstall all the framework, nuts and other hardware. Icalled their "office" and GREG (who REFUSED to give me his last name)told me that because the unit was on the counter when he got there JIM was only going to install his parts and leave!?. Unfinished!? Of course it didnt matter that we unplugged the unit to make sure it wasnt getting power after the fire, JUST LIKE THE MANUFACTURER INSTRUCTED. JENN AIR also told me they are not "installers" but technicians?? UNBELIEVABLE! At the bare minimum the guy could have put it back in the wall housing, plug it up, and screw the frame back on!! If you need appliance repair, DONT gamble with this company!!!
I took pictures with my Blackberry but this site doesnt recognize the file type! Believe me ther ewas a bunch of hardware left along with screws!
