cancelled card on phone
I CALLED IN DECEMBER, 2009 TO CANCEL MY CARD. I WAS TOLD THAT THE CREDIT WOULD BE IN 24 TO 72 HOURS. THAT WAS MORE THAN 72 HOURS AND NO CREDIT WAS GIVEN TO MY BANK ACCOUNT. PLEASE ADVISE WHAT THE STORY IS. IF NO ANSWER I WILL GO TO MY BANK AND HAVE THEM GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AS A WITHDRAWAL AGAINST MY WISHES. EILEEN HAMILTON 215-941-8471.

is not a credit card
i would like my money put back in my account as they said this was a credit card and its not . idont like there stuff as it looks cheap. i will never buy from this store . please return my 29.95 to my back account

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!
This is the actual email I sent to these Yahoos - I have NEVER filed a complaint against any company. Like many others I not only feel deceived, but stupid. I consider myself to be a somewhat intelligent person. They sent me an email after I cancelled this card wanting to make sure I had 100% satisfaction...WOW!
Oh, so glad you finally sent me an email (never received the one I was told I
would receive when submitting this application) Once realizing what this card
was actually about and then doing research online, the ONLY contact information
I could find for your company was off of compliant websites. Most felt deceived
as I did. I would not recommend you advertise on CREDIT CARD websites as this is
not truly what this is. I can get a Fingerhut card and do the same thing.
I found a customer service contact number within the responses from your company
regarding the several hundred complaints and called immediately yesterday after
realizing the confirmation email was not coming through. I tried to call, but
your offices were closed. NOT a convenient thing when dealing with a "credit
card".
I called this morning and talked to a CSR who drilled me for questions on why I
wanted to cancel. Not just asked, DRILLED. Isn't one reason good enough? Once I
got past her, she then transferred me to a supervisor who asked me the SAME
questions again, yet pushed even harder to get me to keep the card. My reasoning
was still the same even after reading her script. I was disappointed at the
beginning of the call, but angered at the end. Once she realized that I was not
going to bite, she then turned somewhat nasty, her tone was very short on the
phone and barely got through the word "Thanks" before hanging up the phone.
I was refunded and this card was cancelled, thank goodness, but what I endured
to get there was not at all what one should experience when attempting to build
credit back up. Not everyone lives beyond their means, some have tragedies in
their lives which force them to get into debt, possibly file bankruptcy and have
to start all over from less than square one. Don't assume everyone is a deadbeat
and certainly don't treat them like one.
You may want to make your contact information available without needing to log
on to your site. People MAY just call ahead of time to get the information they
need to make an educated decision. It also MAY field some angry applicants who
have decided maybe this card was the wrong choice. Considering I filtered
through MANY complaints about your company prior to finding a customer service
number to call did not help in your attempt to save a customer.

Feel like I've been scammed
Hell, I cant even access a catalog to even use the card..Theres not even a link directing you to the catalog or whatever products they claim they have available..I was scammed into applying for the card thinking it was an actual line of credit and now I feel so stupid because I realize I never noticed a visa or mastercard logo to begin with. It is a scam scam scam and like everyone else has complained, they should bring some attention to this matter immediately.And whoever is allowing them to operate online should be held accountable as well. Theres no excuse to justify this, just plain crooked is all i can say.

Money taken from my bank accoun
Some how they took $29.95 out of my bank? NO, I don't have there credit card. Plus, i don't have there phone #.I looked them up on the internet, but it kept taken me to Horizon gold card, so I filled their application out, but they kept saying I already had their credit card, but I don't have their card. SO, , how am I going to get my money back? If I could get their phone#I could call them myself and find out why they took money out?So, can you help me? Horizon Credit Card
Like the others I thought that I was getting a credit card that I could go to local stores to make a purchase, but to my disappointment that's not it at all. I have gone to the websight that they tell you to go to and shop but I can't find anything that I would even think about buying. I really hate to pay $30.00 a month. Well I'm NOT going to. Don't get this card.

it is not what i expected
Well when i got the offer the card said it was a credit card. I though it would be a good way to build some more credit but, I did not think it was just to shop from their web site if I would have know this I would have declined the offer. It is complicated to me to shop from site they take to long to receive the stuff you order.

Worthless card
I bought into this card and it is not at all what it was advertised to be...thought it was a regular credit card not one linked to a shopping outlet on line. Useless! Will be sending back immediately for refund of monthly fee and set up charges. Don't waste your time!

RIP OFF
hgc, took advantage of me, now i can't get intouch with them pl ease someone help me to a refund, I'am going to change my bank account so they can't steal from me anymore, took out 29.95 . plus i don't like to be lied to taken advantage of not a rich person, everyone needs their money, everybit. take that post-card and thrown in the trashcan for you get rip-off . Can't use it anywhere no exiper day or a code. thank.
