credit card
This card is misleading, its not a credit card like they want you to think.
Its a outlet card, the cost of shipping is high the items are cheap, but not the price.
what you pay to have it shipped will pay for the item.ITS ALL JUNK.YOU COULD BUY IT IN THE DOLLAR STORE.

being dishonest
I have read many of the complaints listed at this site about horizon gold, I only wish I had seen them when I also payed 79.00 to get my card also thinking like so many others that this was a credit card (visa or mastercard
but it was not Ive never used this card and ive had it since 2007 it is a scam to get people to buy things from their company and then charge you interest on this crap they want to sell you although they do report this to a credit bureou (ive seen it on my credit report) they were decieving in the way they get peaple to pay there fees, to get a card i will NEVER use I never got my money back, but it's definetly a good lesson learned

DO NOT ORDER THE HORIZON GOLD CARD, MERIT PLATINUM CARD OR THE NET TRUST CARD! THIS IS A FRAUD!! IT IS NOT A VISA OR MASTERCARD AND THEY DO NOT REPORT TO THE CREDIT AGENCIES AS THEY STATE THEY DO. IF YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS CARD, YOU HAVE TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GET A SPEECH ABOUT THE CARD THEN YOU HAVE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A "SUPERVISOR" WHO WILL TRY TO TALK YOU INTO KEEPING IT AND ONLY GIVE YOU A PARTIAL REFUND. THIS COMPANY IS LISTED ON THE BBB WEBSITE AS UNSATISFACTORY!!

taking more money out of account
i called to canceled my card and they said it will better my credit i have not used this card and its still in the envolope all they be taking out there 29.99 and 19.99 every two weeks

i would like this card canceled because it not what you said i believe this a scam and that you all are ripping people off. i have inform orchard bank not to debit my account for anything that is related to this scam.

misleading
this was a misleading offer and when you want to cancle the service they hurry up and erase the info so you cant get the info off the website. all the things to buy onlin are cheap and small and has no value. the items look like these are items from the thrift store or a retail shop.

Misleading Information
I too received this piece of mail from horizon gold card stating that i would receive $500 in five days and i would receive a visa or mastercard. I log onto the website and there on i felt this was a scam, there was no number anywhere on the site to speak to a live person before signing up with them. I tried to find other ways to contact them and i was unsuccessful, the only contact they have before you sign up with them is by email. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CARD. ITS A SCAM
