Hi everyone

we are a small business that wanted a dedicated server and were recommended to HostStore. We have about 7 emails back and forth before we signed up telling us that everything we wanted to do was fine - and offering us potential deal.

fine got the welcome email - saying thanks we are giving you an upgraded package as some pieces weren't available. that's where things start to go downhill.

next after one day our account was suspended because we used too much bandwidth in a day and we would exceed our monthly quota at that rate. I replied that we wouldn't be using the server at the same rate everyday but that we would be staying within the service we had paid for as we have an administrator monitoring this.

well nope I get an explanation as to why this is unacceptable that they are getting screwed on their end by us using alot one day and nothing the next. So I said fine cancel our account and send us our money back - because nowhere in the marketing materials or conversation with this sales staff had we ever been told you have to abide by some arbitrary daily limit.

but we can upgrade you and charge you more based on an amount of bandwidth you project your going to use for the month .. ????? what is this crap ? honestly these guys are a SCAM

now after going back and forward with support - its obvious these people do not comprehend English very well... and after agreeing to cancel - they don't want to refund our money.

I mean this is a classic bait and switch SCAM that is really starting to irritate me. they change the rules whenever they want and are more than happy to take the money but not deliver the service they have been paid for.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
