no credit for return
Item was the wrong size and was returned for credit, with USPS Delivery Confirmation Receipt. A month later, after 2 emails and 3 phone calls to a live person with promises, no credit has been issued. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. Avoid this company. I wish I had.

Terrible Customer Service
Ordered a dog NO Saints Jersey for Super Bowl Sunday. Order placed on 1/25/10 -- Website specifically stated item was in stock and shipping instructions stated it could be shipped by "USPS First Class (4-7 day avg)". Charges went through the following day on my credit card -- and after asking for a status, Hot Dog Collars exact verbiage:
"As the product page indicates, this item is subject to back orders until 1/29-2/3. While we do make every effort to ship this item well ahead of this time frame, some orders will require the full time period to ship. Your order is important to us and our system will send a confirmation email as soon as it has left our facility". This was NOT posted on the website as I would have taken my business someplace else that could promise a timely delivery. Today is 2/3 and there is no correspondence from this company. You cannot reach the customer support line as all you get is a message that states to email the [email protected]. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -- I even asked them to refund my money since it is doubtful I will get the jersey on time. In addition, all information on my account has been removed so that I cannot even see what was ordered.

dog tags poor quality
the quality of the dog tags is very poor. i ordred them 2 months ago and the engraving is already worn off. they scratch with normal wear. the return policy is a rip off. first of all they don't accept personalized or scratched tags back. even if they did I would receive $7 back on a $17 purchase. don't shop here if you want a good quality dog tag that will last a long time.

Defective Product - Terrible customer service
I ordered 4 collars from Hot Dog Collars and they looked great when I received them, but 2 of the collars have had the studs start coming off. I contacted customer service and it is impossible to talk to a person. They make you leave a message and they never call you back. I have left phone messages and email messages many times and they WILL NOT contact me back. Their customer service is non-existent and they clearly do not stand behind their products. I will never shop with them again. I have had to throw away the two collars, they look terrible after only a couple of weeks. I don't know how companies survive in this day and age with such horrible customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Missing shipment
Hello, I ordered products from this company in September, 2008 and have never received products or replys to my e-mails concerning the missing shipment. I have sent them at least 5 e-mails asking for either a refund or simply send us our products that we paid for. I have all my receipts and can even check their webpage for the status of my shipment, so obviously they can check that themselves also. My complaint is that they have no phone number for complaints or missing shipments, only a call center taking the orders and they will not talk about anything but orders or direct me where i can talk to somone regarding this. I am not sure if they are members of the better business bureau, but i do not know what to do or who else to contact regarding this... I have contacted paypal but they will only refund after 30 days and I gave them (hot dog collars) a few extra weeks to ship the product. My bank will not refund either as it has been after 45 days of the transaction. I am in New brunswick, canada so i cannot go directly to the place. Any information would be GREATLY APPRICIATED...

Poor Customer Service
Hot Dog Collars has NO communication and the worst customer service I have ever received.

I ordered a personalized, embroidered dog collar from hot dog collars on January 27th and paid for expedited shipping. I gave them my e-mail address so they could send me tracking information on my order. As of February 5th I have not received any information on my order, not even an acknowledgement of my order. I tried unsuccessfully to track my order on their website, so I called their 800 number and was told to send an e-mail. They will not let you speak to a customer service agent regarding orders already placed (unbelievable!).

Todd responded in less than 2 hours stating that it takes between 7 - 10 days to personalize dog collars and he did not provide any information on my order, nor did he answer my question.

The item did arrive, and the embroidery is so far off to the side it looks ridiculous. I had previously ordered an embroidered dog collar from GoTags.com and was extremely happy with their product and customer service. I have thrown away the collar from Hot Dog Collars and place an order with GoTags.com.
