I booked a hotel in Netherland on 8th December, 2009. Unfortunaly I did not got a vissa to go there, I wrote to the hotel and explain my situation but they said:-
Dear Mr. Aboud,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We have looked in to this matter, but unfortunately we can not refund your money. The cancellation terms and conditions are clearly stated on your confirmation of your booking and these rules and regulations are legit. Many hotels work with non refundable reservations and the conditions are similar and clearly stated.

Atleast they could charge me with the cancelation fees but they took all my money for ten days.
