Terrible place
We wanted to look at a room before we booked, but the guy at the front desk wouldn't let us see, we booked a room anyways since we needed a hotel near to my aunt's place. We booked a double deluxe suite and on the day we went to check in we were surprised by the size of the room. It was the size of a small bathroom, they managed to fit 2 beds in there with barely any room to move about and they were charging Rs 4000 (approx) + taxes. Right then we decided to go get the best room available in the hotel, which is their executive suite, Rs 6750 + taxes per night. 2 bathroom, 2 air conditioner. One very big bathroom with multiple head shower. Sounded very nice to us, but our problems started the moment we got there. Of the 2 a/cs only one worked, one bathroom was probably not cleaned in a long time, you could see this layer of dust on everything. If you turned the water heater in the bigger bathroom at the same time as the a/c was on, it would trip the circuit breaker and half the room would lose power. We asked for internet access as it was advertised as a part of package, we were told that wi fi doesn't work and that they won't be able to get it to work, they told us to use dial up and wouldn't even provide a cable to connect the laptop.
Even when the power was there, one of the air conditioners would barely cool the room, when we called house keeping we were told it is working, just that it doesn't work well. Then we tried their multiple headed shower, believe it or not, not even a drop of water appeared through the shower heads, we figured out that the water had barely any pressure to go through one shower head and that too there was barely any water coming through it, so there goes our shower for the night.
To top it all, I saw a cockroach by the area where our baby was playing, I went and killed it and called house keeping right away. They tell me oh yeah, there are cockroaches, but we kill them every 2 weeks, they might be coming back up from the water drain.
In addition to that we kept losing power all night and no one even called us to say what the matter was. Oh and finally their elevator, not sure how old that thing is, but it takes over a minute to go up 2 floors. All in all, it looked like a place where seedy things happen.
People there continuously looked for tips without providing us any service and the guy at the front desk wouldn't even reduce our bill because of all our problems, and the reason he give, I didn't know till you told me now.
Save yourself a bad time at this place, spend a little more and go to a better hotel.
