For Christmas 2009 I ordered 4 movies from HotMovieSale.com. They didn't arrive for the big day. Now, in October 2010, I noticed membership fees. Customer service rep. said that by ordering, I agreed to become a member, therefore the fees. A whole year later.

Don't even think of ordering from these thieves, they con you to buy a movie cheap. The first site doesn't say anything about a membership. Gotcha they start by charging you $1.00 to see if your credit card works, then start charging you $19.95 per month because "you agreed to a make believe membership" I raised hell and threatened to turn them in to authorities, which they quickly refunded my $40.00, they just hope you will never balk at the charges. This is a con do not fall for it. Report to you credit card company if they get your number.

Run from this company, they are doing business in Florida where they have less laws to protect YOU. They have many other sites by different names, Research before you buy, RUN, RUN, RUN,

After going through my bank statements, I realized that hotmoviesale.com has been making withdraws from my bank account:

I called the 1-866-566-8437 and spoke with a very rude representative. She told me that last year I purchased three movies over the Internet, and that in the shipping and handling page, in fine print, I agreed to pay for a "membership".

I am totally disappointed, and I feel that I got robbed $129.60 under the name of “membership in fine print”.
I feel that this is not correct, to deceive people that usually don't read the fine print, and that trusts companies that sale over the Internet.

I asked for my refund, because I prefer not to go through the hassle of complaining to the companies that protect the customers, and writing reviews warning other people against those companies that make their money relying on the good faith of their buyers.

Please, don't buy from this company, I was a victim of hotmoviesale.com because I blindly agreed to the terms of the "membership" . I was not aware of what I was signing for, and I acted in good faith.

Hotmoviesale.com is a scam, they rip off your bank account and laugh at you when you call them!

They also go by the name Bbvhotmoviesale.com, and to get money out of your bank account, they use different names. Other name they use is HMS.

I ordered a movie through hotmoviesale.com. I was charged $3.82 for the movie. Now, I am getting charged $9.82 for something else. I did not order any more moview from them. I would like to be removed from their customer list because of the terrible reviews they have. Please help!

I purchased DVD in October 2009 was charged for that purchase and was not able apply $5 credit they promised for new customers. In February 2010 my credit card has been charged to $9.95 . I called company and discovered that it has a hidden membership. I canceled my membership but they did not refund this unauthorized charge.
