As mentioned we purchased a couch from the Edmonton - North location on 07-15-2010, from and individual name Kevin with a few minor changes, cosemtically to the couch, declined the Vegas trip and put the cost on our VISA and the H2H card.
We were told it would take 4-6 weeks, custom order. We have it about 8 1/2 weeks and when we didn't hear anything we went to the Edmonton - North location. Kevin, looked in a black binder and said that it was ready and on it's way to be shipped because the company prefers to ship more than one to get the most out of shipping and our couch was included in this transfer. Give it another two weeks.
Then, we heard about a few of your locations closing...with worry we went to see Kevin again. He told us to speak to Dean. Didn't even offer apologies and just to speak to Dean.
My husband phoned and explained the situation to Dean and he said he would phone him back. He didn't !!! My husband had to call again and become upset to get any resolution. Dean said that the couches should be here by mid-September and as a expression of apology we can have $60 towards artwork of some type...decorative.
We went there on Sunday 09-19-2010. Dean, was not in but a very impolite sales associate, said we don't give out personal numbers without me finishing to ask, what is the number for this location to call him. I then got this e-mail to relay my anger, frustration and disappointment. They said he will be in on Monday. I just called and they said he won't be in until Tuesday!!!
What kind of service is this?????
1) We don't have the couches!!!
2) No one knows what is happening!!! Is the couch done? Has it even been ordered?
3) It is paid for in full!!! Which is now building interest on an item we don't have!!!
What insult to a consumer!!!
I will have not choice but to alert and ensure that the BBB, the media and fellow consumers of the kind of treatment customer receive when buying items at your location..
