DO NOT USE!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I ordered my 7 Bridesmaids dresses from House of Brides. I encountered mistake after countless mistake on their part. First, they put the wrong dress on my account for all of my bridesmaids to order. I only noticed this by chance on a visit I made, if I had not, I cannot even explain how awful it would have been. Following that, House of Brides told me a sash color that was not available for the dress I chose so no one could order the correct color due to the fact that the color they chose was for a completely different designer. Upon getting fitted for this dress, my consultant told each of my Bridesmaids that they were AT LEAST a full 4 sizes larger than their true size. In one case, she told her that she needed a 28 when she is a 14! Ridiculous. On one of my 1-hour drive trips to House of Brides, I was told by a different consultant that the dresses I chose were discontinued in less than a month, so they needed to be ordered within the next 2 days in order to get them on time. I had told my Bridesmaids they had at least 2 more months! What if they had not stumbled upon this fact and decided to mention it to me? After this I got my Bridesmaids together and they agreed to get the dresses right away. For the next 4 days I attempted to call House of Brides about 15 times per day. FINALLY on the fourth day I got in touch with someone who told me that the internet and phones had been down for the past 4 days. WHAT?! How can that happen? Forward your calls. Do something to make sure you do not lose business and keep your customers at ease. I tried to be kind throughout all of this, but finally I had to call and ask the House of Brides to take the name of my consultant off of my account and give me a different one. I told them I no longer wanted to be contacted by her and I did not want my bridesmaids speaking with her as I was worried about her ability to make my order correctly. I made this VERY clear and they assured me it would not be a problem. The NEXT day she called me and knew nothing about me asking for her to not contact me anymore. On the same day, she called one of my Bridesmaids and talked to her for about 5 minutes about all of the orders before my Bridesmaid corrected the consultant and let her know that she was, in fact, not the bride. She told the consultant that she needed to call me about these items and she asked her for my phone number! After about 4 months of working together...shouldn't she have a note or something about who is who? I have to say, these are only a FEW of the things that have happened with my experience. This whole experience has been so upsetting I cannot even begin to explain. I have not had any sort of assurance of what I will get the entire time. My Bridesmaids have already paid and ordered their dresses, so it would be very difficult to change anything at this point. If I can give any words of advice to others, I would say please do not go to this store. Don't even attempt it. It is not worth your stress. Make your experience a fun and confident one...go somewhere else!

Don't even bother
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. 5 Weeks of calling and leaving messages and even emailing and never a return call/email back.. Finally after the 5th week and phone call saying they need to cancel the order we placed since they won't be able to make it/. THIS IS AFTER WEEKS OF CALLING! No one knows what they are doing at this place and the only way to make it better is for this company to go under!. I have never been so displeased with any company in my life/. If anyone is considering ordering from houseofbrides:.com, save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere:. Why pay for a product and service if they have no intentions of giving it to you:. Although, they sure are happy with taking your money!

order cancelled - not informed
well, the dresses were orderd in mid March, expected up to 8 weeks for delivery, so 2 months later in May started calling, faxing, emailing and initally did not get any responses. Finally got a different phone #, called many times, no one could give me any info on the order, kept being told someone would call within 24 hours. Started calling everyday, still no one with any info. Eventually did get a rep who connected me with her supervisor who gave me a# for the order status desk. You are to leave a message and they will call you back within 15 minutes of checking the messages - which they check every couple of hours. That # is: 603 613-2359 for any of you who may need it. Was then told the order was cancelled - this was May 26th, but they could not tell me why or when the order was cancelled. Just spoke to another rep tonight and she told me the order was cancelled May 26th. I really think they forgot to put the order in...am now waiting for a refund?? Which can take up to 30 days. Funny how the funds come out the day we send the payment, they hold our funds for 2.5 months and no interest. Obviously need to reorganize their company so when you call reps can give you up to date info or when the order is cancelled, they at least call to let you know. Will be warning people for years not to use House of Brides

Thieves!
I put an order for two brides maids dresses through with House of brides and i received an email four days later on April 18th telling me that my order was not going to be processed and a refund would be issued to me. I called on several occasions inquiring as to when exactly this refund would happen and was given a different story each time and this morning the latest story was that i had already received a refund. I called again this evening and was told that i need to request a refund. Honestly, they took my money and didn't give me a product, how is it that i have to REQUEST a refund. Please do not purchase anything from house of brides. Please.

Scam/Paid for product and have not received it!
Oh My Goodness! I can't believe there are so many other complaints about houseofbrides.com "the worlds largest online wedding store"!!! I am so stressed and don't know what to do! I leave in 1 week for my sisters destination wedding and I am her maid of honour. We ordered and PAID FOR two Dessy Bridesmaids dresses online in March 2011 and paid a rush fee for both dresses so that we could be sure that they would arrive on time for our departure. They should have well and truly arrived by now but we have had no shipping confirmation or even any contact from House of Brides despite countless attempts at contacting them to see what is going on. My sister, the bride, has called over and over (international call) and keeps getting told that someone will call her back and they never do. We've also sent heaps of emails asking them to contact us and let us know what is going on with NO response at all. We have spent a lot of money and have nothing to show for it! I think houseofbrides.com must be a sham website where they just take your money and then you never hear from them again! Can anyone suggest what we should do to take action against them!?

Ne service to correct thier mistake
BEWARE! Do not buy from House of Brides. They ordered 2 of my 5 dresses wrong now I am stuck with 2 child size dresses and need to find off the rack 2 adult size dresses for my wedding in 2 weeks. This is your worst nightmare if you buy from them. Total morons, snotty and couldn't care less about any customer service since they have none. Sarah and Diane are worthless. Move on, you are not saving money! BEWARE!!!

Bad service, wrong product
Do not buy from the scam of a company. I ordered 5 dresses, 2 came in a child's size, their fault, they ordered it wrong. I am now eating the children's dresses plus I have to find 2 dresses off the rack as my wedding is 2 weeks away. they are total morons and I will do everything in my power to let the world know what scam they are running. Move on, you are not saving any money. BEWARE!!!

Do not order from them!!
I planned my wedding in 4 months and I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from House of Brides because they had the dresses at a cheaper price and offered rush shipping at a low cost. I ordered my dresses in January for an April wedding. We ordered 7 bridesmaid dresses and in the middle of March received 2 seperate packages. We were missing one more package and tried calling to find out where it was and they said "it was on its way". Two weeks before the wedding they decided to tell us that the order never got sent to the designer and the dresses were never made. They were not helpful AT ALL and only offered a refund. The woman i spoke to on the phone was horrible. She would not let me talk to a supervisor or anything! They received $1500 for my order and never called to check that it was sent!!! They did not make the dresses and we had to send back all of the dresses and fight for a full refund! Thank god for Macy's. I had to go to Macy's and buy 7 of the same dress and the bridesmaids will wear them. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOUSE OF BRIDES!!

Never received dress
I ordered three Alfred Angelo dresses style number Alfred angelo 7044 victorian lilac from the immediate delivery section. This was done via email by a lady named Karen at phone number as I was told I could not have the original dresses I ordered. I paid for the three dresses but I only received two. I have called and emailed for over two months now but noone has got back to me. They have happily got my money but no dress! This is theft and is illegal. I am having to call from Australia which is very expensive to be constantly doing this. Her number is 0011-1-630-629-4062 ext 308

Costumer service
We ordered a wedding dress from the line of available items for delivery within 7 business days or less. After 10 days of waiting I called to find out what was going on with my order to just experience what been ignored means.
They ignored us for at least five days. Then Shannon from the Headquarters called and told us that the initial dress my fiancée picked was no longer available for her.
Shannon then suggested another dress she stated that was available for immediate delivery however my fiancée didn’t like it thus she picked another dress. Shannon from headquarters told us this new dress was available and that she would get back to us the same with information of delivery date.
That was the last we heard from them. We called repeatedly to no avail, and every time we called we had to state our names so she just completely ignored us.
Now we ran out of time because the wedding is in 30 days. Unbelievable how we were treaded and ignored by everyone involved in the process of getting a wedding dress.
My fiancée cries everyday because she feels that these people ruined her wedding plans and they express nothing for it. They just don’t care.
The president of this company should know what’s going on with the business, her name is Iva Buziecki and I am 100% sure that if she knew these problems were going on she would do something about it, after all she’s the president of the company.
I recommend everybody to make an actual compliant with the better business bureau and my personal feelings are that maybe someone will hear about this and do something about it.
