I commented on the other two complaints that are already here but thought this deserves its own complaint. I ordered two items from this "company" on 12/28/09. Yesterday, 1/25/10, I had not received the items. In this time, I had emailed them through the Contact Us option on their website, and never received a reply. The first was a question about my order, in particular, if I could change something, as it had only been a day or two and had not shipped yet. The second was weeks later, when I still had not received my items, nor a reply from them. This is when I checked in to their super sketchy shipping terms detailed via a tiny link at the bottom of the website - indicating that their shipping takes FOREVER (I'm paraphrasing) because of stringent inspection guidelines by sporting associations. Now let me tell you I have ordered many many sports items in my lifetime and I receive them all in a timely manner. Something's fishy. Also fishy is the fact that they charge you right away, no matter that your items don't ship for weeks (if not months).
Finally, yesterday, 1/25/10, they sent me a survey asking me to rate their items. I replied, VERY frustrated, that they had some nerve asking me to rate anything that I had not received, when they had not replied to my two contact attempts. Oh did this open a can of worms. The "business" owner went on to berate and insult and threaten me for the next hour and a half over the "terms I agreed to" and how I must be "unable to read" and then began referring to my workplace and how our donors (he would only know we have donors by googling/stalking me) would love to know where my priorities lie and how I spend my time. THIS PERSON THREATENED ME.
Unbelievable. I was truly in shock that I was being treated this way by a business!
Oddly enough, as this email tirade was going on, one of my items arrived, with a packing slip that said the other item was out of stock and would be refunded. There was no communication from them about this in the 5 weeks since it was ordered. I would have ordered another one elsewhere.
I will be filing complaints with the BBB, and all of the Officially Licensed leagues that this company "carries" (or in my suspicion, re-sells). I urge the other folks who endured this abuse to do the same.
