We gave a HP desk top Model # 2290, that was purchased on 4th May 2008 for fixing a problem under warranty. It was given to Reddington -Doha- Qatar on the 26th June 2008 and ater repeated calls we were informed that it was waiting for spare part. Subsequently when asked were told that the spare has arrived and it will be given in two days.
Having not received the repaired system when called they again said the spare part has not arrived which was contradicting the earlier status report. Finally when we were up and said we are going to escalate to HP the response was " OK go ahead and do that"
We were of the opinion that Reddington is a name of repute and cares for customers and the service but the attitude was not right. Within 30 minutes of our expressing dissatisfaction and telling that we will escalate to HP we were informed that the system is ready and can be collected.
Very very unprofessional way of dealing and HP needs to look into this.
