I bought a HP Compaq Presario CQ60-418CA last September 30, 2009. Last July, 2010 barely a year from the date of purchase, the power supply of my laptop became defective and won't function.
I asked a friend to bring the power supply and the Official receipt to Best Buy in LAX. Unfortunately, Best Buy people told her to go online and file a complaint since it had passed the 45 days warranty of the store. Please do something about this. I have an Acer laptop for more than 4 years now and everything is still working.
