I bought a HP system about a year ago. Before I bought the system, they told me HP is a global company and will have service and guarantee globally. I bought and give it as a gift to my brother in Singapore. When I got the system and tried to setup in the US, I frequently had system shut down and boot up issue. After many frustrated calls with HP, they determined some parts were lose in the system caused the issue.
Few months later, there was issue with an application with the 256M video card. Again, it was always so hard and frustrated trying to get help from HP to upgrade the video card as they just pointed me to some tech document or mentioned some video cards that I am not able to find. I gave up on them. Now, the system harddisk seems stop working. HP service and customer service won’t even response to help.
HP sells inferior product as the system I got has many issues in less than a year. I have bought many DELL laptops (4) and desktop (5) in the past and did not have as many issues as just this one HP system. I won’t be buying and will not recommend HP to anyone as they have terrible service and until they treat us right. I feel like HP just want to make profit in the short team, if they keep practice business this way, I won’t be surprise and feel sorry for them if they are out of business. I will continue to share this experience with others at other sites to make HP pay for this one way or the other.
