Faulty Printer
Perhaps I may have approached your Board before, my complaint about the intHP 2800 I bought through Dell paid for online (Call Centre in India) around £ 450 remains unresolved for over two years.
I even e-mailed to CEO of HP called Mr Hurd. He has abscounded but this joint called HP still looting the
cosumers around the Globe.
I believe you as respected champion of cosumer's rights. Kindly help me as I'm a retired person of meager means, never cheated nor wish to be cheated.

cheating in hp authorised service centre in siliguri
sir,
with due respect i would like to inform you that, i have taken my
cq60 laptop to a hp authorised service cenntre(RT outsourcing services
ltd. siliguri, mob-9378471708). on 30.09.10 as windows is not starting
properly.they informed me that it was due to keyboard problem which i
have to change.it will cost approx 4500/-(keyboard-3500+service charge
500+inspection charge+500+taxes as applicable).i brought back my
laptop paying inspectoin charge 500/- next, day without repairing.to my
utter surprise i found my hard disk with cabinet is missing.when i
called back they told that the engineer who inspected my laptop was in
leave and told me to come after vacation.after vacation when i went
there they took my bill & told me to come next day as they had to
search for my hard disk, which is most probably damaged. next day they
returned me a damaged 120 GB samsung PATA hard disk with cabinet.but
mine was 250 gb SATA hard disk hp original(i have never changed, or
repaired my laptop before).after arguing they returned the cabinet and
asked me to come when they would find my hard disk.i told them i will
inform HP about the incident.next day some one called me introducing
himself as hp service manager of this zone(mob-9832094518).he asked me
to come & collect my hard disk from RT.they returned me a 250GB SATA
TOSHIBA HARD DISK, which was damaged as expected.to my surprise when i
removed the level(newly leveled) i found it is a samsung hard disk.i
had to buy a new hard disk from outside.
this is not the end, today someone called me from a landline
no-03322267310(hp head office in kolkata?how do they got my no), she
wanted to enquire if i am satisfied with the hp service

we buy HP products not only for quality, but also for
services you provide.if this is the situation of HP customer
services, we shall aware of buying HP products in future.Please, for
GOD sake, try to rectify and resolve customer's concern if can't then
dont aggrevate it.

Poor Customer Service
HP customer service is horrible. They could care less who we are and what the problem is. I purchased 5 computers. I had a problem with all of them, however I returned them right after purchasing them. I finally settled on a Notebook G71-340US. It had some issues in the beginning however they were rectified. I was called by a manager finally and told if I have any issues with this laptop they will replace it with no issue. I have an issue and called them to get it replaced. Not happening, the lady I spoke to advsied that I broke the computer. I advised that I didnot break the computer that it sits on my desktop and does not move. I was told on a previous call to speaking to her that a case manager would call me within 24-28hrs. Did not recieve a call back. So she says how come I didnt call right back. I could not believe the things that were coming out her mouth. I told that she was totally inappropriate for asking how come I didnt call back and check on why the case manager didnt call me. She refused to transfer me to a supervisor, mind you I said to her over and over that I recieved a phone call from a manager when i first purhcased the laptop that if i had any issues it would be replaced. i have only had this computer for 7 months. I can't believe that their customer service is so poor and I will not purchase anything from HP ever nor will I suggest anyone else buy HP products. There customer service is deplorable.

Final words of advise DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS!!

Spin and win- Registration Problem-code error
Dear mam/sir,

I am a hp cartidge user from last 8 years. Recently I came to know about HP Spin & Win Offer. I became happy that HP is given some privilege to their customer. So I tried & w in three gift from this sp in & w in game in last month. But rlast week, I purchase two 818 tri-color cartridge (Rs.972.00) from a local shop and tried to register the pin code in side it so many times but it was shown as in correct. I have written 5 times to the Id : [email protected] / [email protected]. But it shown as undelivered and an error massage came as Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: [email protected]
The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly.
I have also called the customer care no 011-42399808 & 42399844 given in the website; it was alwaz ringing but nobody receive it. why HP is doing such disgusting services i dnt know.
So please give me some solution what to do now to play the game further.

computer caught on fire
My Hp G60 series has been overheating from the moment I purchased it. I was a nursing student and lost various papers and assignments because it would get so hot it would burn my leg and hands. Initially, they were very helpful, they took the computer back, fixed it, but it eventually began to over heat again. Recently, I had it sent off to them to repair the same problem again but they sent it back, not repaired, and the issue was not addressed. I called them rate away, angry, with the intent to find out why they had not repaired it. The reason that they gave me was that because I had spilt some water on the keyboard-my laptop was no longer covered under warrenty. Of course, the spill has nothing to do with the overheating, which was the ongoing problem. Eventually the customer service representitave agreed to have it get repaired, and a "case manager" would contact me in 24 hours. No one called. I called again, again I was promised to have a case manager call me in 24-48 hrs, and yet again no one called. I began to go to school again at the beginning of Sept, and I had no time to think about Hp calling me back, although it was in the back of my mind. Then, sitting in class, I smelt smoke-a plastic burning smell coming from my computer. I turned it off, and called Hp as soon as my class was finished. They gave me the run around, and one customer service rep hung up on me (which had not been the first time). I was so angry with them, they tried to tell me that my warrenty was up, but it was extended by their rep when I called them the first time because I still had three days remaining on my initial warrenty-so it was extended by 90days. I was told, again, that the problem would be resolved and a case manager would call me within 72 hours. One would assume that a smoking laptop from a giant corporation like HP would be high priority, a public saftey issue perhaps, but no...no suggestions of not turning the computer back on, nothing, just ignorance and contempt. I went home and my girlfriend (who is also a RN) told me that I should transfer my files and stop using the computer. I turned it on to do so, and it caught fire...I burned my hand (mildly) and after the smoke cleared my girlfriend in a panic called Hp...48hrs later we still are getting the run around...wth, if i was Hp I would think a fire was just lit under my ass, as there is a potential lawsuit here. We don't want any compensation, or a new computer, we just want one that works and won't burn my house down and kill me family! wow...

functionality problem
Hi,
We purchased HP Pavilion laptop a month back at best buy tampa.

it has poor performance, after using 2 hours the laptop is getting hot. booting takes lots of time. with DVD inside it won't boot at all. whatever DVD we are using the content is gettng erased and it says empty. we are not satisfied with the laptop at all. can u please telll any one faced with same issues. wat could be the problem ?
