I Have a H.P. PL4260N serial # CNH6431448. The picture went out with no sound 12/5/09. The T.V. was purchased from H.P. direct in March of 07. I contaced H.P. Case manager line and have sent a letter to the CEO. They are telling me that the Y SUS board is probably bad and is a known problem but they can't help me beccasue my T.V. is out of warranty..They even asked me if the problem with my T.V. was sound and no picture. They offered to fix my T.V. for $629.00 and then for $400.00 but at $400.00 they could not promise the repair of my T.V. I explained to them that I filled out my warranty card and they said that it is on record.. I asked them why they did not contact me when they found out that ther was a defgective part in there T.V's and I filled out my warranty card.. They told me that they mixed up the serial number on my t.v with a thin line computer they sell that had the same serial number as my T.V... They told me they contacted the person that owns the computer instead of me because they mixed up the serials.. I told them that due to that they should help me fix my T.V. there response was no, and its to bad they made a mistake with my serial number.. I have spoken with several case managers and they are the most disrespectful people I have ever spoken with in my whole life.. They are more interested in getting into a heated argument than taken care of a long standing customer that they sold a faulty part to.. When I ask for a manger there response is that mangers wont speak to the public.. No wonder they are so mean on the phone.
After I sent a e-mail to the CEO I again contacted the case manager beacuase I got no response from my e-mail.. The case manager told me that the e-mail I sent was recieved and that it does nothing to send the email to the CEO because when you send the email it never goes to the CEO it just gets routed back to the case manager and nothing changes rearding there stance on fixing the T.V. They said sending the e-mail becasue of complaints in the way people talk to you dont even go to anyone that cares.. So I just sent a second e-mail to the CEO but i do not expect anything new to happen.
