Highway Robbers
Warning: Do not shop at this store!!! I went to this store in Paramus thinking I would get stellar customer service and high quality furniture, as opposed to Raymour and Flanigan (which is where I should have shopped!). I picked out furniture for my bedroom, and living room, and kitchenb. I was told it would be in stock at a certain time. Only certain pieces came at the time I was promised it would arrive, and when it was delivered it was the wrong stuff. I complained to the manager who was condescending, rude, and indignant. Too long of a story to get into, but trust me...this store Huffmnan & Koos is a scam. Furniture you pick out never seems to come in stock, even though you are required to leave a deposit. The furniture in their "showrooms" is all BS. It was the worst shopping experience of my life. Thank God I went to Raymour for the balance of my furniture, which arrived w/in days and was of excellent quality.

Customer Service
Purchased Server for $799 in December 2010. Dining room server was delivered with a broken door in mid-January 2011. 3rd party repair company that Huffman Koos uses to fix their furniture came to our home and could not fix the door on the server; customer service agent came to our home and took 1 digital photo; that rep was fired 1 week later and picture never sent to Huffman. Another rep came out, rigged the door to fix it, took photos. Wrong door was ordered, then furniture manufacturer of the server that was in our house and broken went out of business. We did not find this out until April 5th (3 months latere!) We want to exchange the current broken server for more expensive one; they will not. WORST SERVICE EVER! Rude workers. 4 month ordeal!!!

My experience with Huffman Koos is STILL not over (after 2 and a half months) thanks to the incompetence of their aftercare service. The first time they delivered our dining table set, the surfice was stained. It couldn't be wiped because the stains are below the coating. I called and askedl the office to replace the table. I had many trouble because the office never back up when the person in charge is out. They NEVER called me back even if I left messages to do that. It took a month for them to process our service request (to) and an inspection campany's worker came to my house. After his inspection to take some pictures, they have NEVER got in touch with me for a month. Whenever I call to confirm they always have poor explanation. For example, "Now, service office is closed" or "Now the person in charge is out". They should call me back because I have already paid the money. I'm so dissapointed to find their unprofessionalism. Finally, I hope refund.
I NEVER recommend to buy anything in Huffman Koos.

Horrible Delivery and Damaged Product
My experience with Huffman Koos is STILL not over (after 2 and a half months) thanks to the incompetence of their delivery service. The first time they delivered our bedroom set, they forgot to pack the slats for the bed frame and so our mattress is STILL on the ground. Not only that, but the headboard was damaged and so we asked for a new one. It took two weeks for them to process our service request (to get the slats and headboard delivered) and then another two weeks before we could get an opening for delivery. Then our delivery was canceled due to weather and then their driver had the flu another time so AGAIN our delivery was canceled. (Oh boo hoo, you have the flu. So get another driver!) Every time we called to reschedule we had to wait another two weeks. So FINALLY we called and spoke to the manager of the delivery service and he scheduled us for the next available day we were available. Surprise, again canceled due to weather and rescheduled two days later. And that is today, and we STILL don't have our pieces. They NEVER SHOWED UP TODAY! WTF? No call, nothing. So because it's a week nite, no one is around and we have to wait until tomorrow to even TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS.
In short, this is what I want to happen:
I want my pieces delivered ASAP,
I want at least part of my money back,
I want someone to get fired for this incompetence,
I want Huffman Koos to use a better delivery service,
and I want to tell all of you to NEVER USE HUFFMAN KOOS TO GET FURNITURE. You'd get better response from a damn monkey.
HUFFMAN KOOS, YOU SUCK!

2 months delayed delivery
Dealing with huffman koos and their unprofessional staff has been one of the most aggravating events for me and my fiance.we regret spending so much money there. our couch came a month later than the date we were promised. our dinette set came in 3 different occasions and some parts were dirty and damaged. we ordered our couch in June and after a month it arrived much to our surprise damaged, well is now December and we're still waiting on our couch's arrival. So disappointed and angry please don't waste your time and money with this unprofessional, careless and improper business. We have called numerous times to speak to the management but it seems like he's always on a break. We DO NOT recommend fairfield branch or any Huffman Koos branch ever.

Delivers a defective table and leaves
I just got a delivery for a dining table and the company delivered a defective table that doesn't open to accept a leaf. I asked the delivery guy if they were going to take it back and he told me we don't do that>??? I asked to speak to the manager and he said the manager would call me by the end of the day. The guys ran out of my house, I never got a call and when I called the store in Fairfield NJ they told me they had no record of my situation and because I accepted the defective table I could not get a new one!!! I even signed it "Delivered Defective". When I called the store they kept telling me to read my contract, read my contract, read my contract. I felt so insulted because I felt the delivery guys tricked me into believing the manager was going to offer a resolution which in my eyes was a new table. What else could it be? Apparently they are going to send a tech to determine if my table is fixable. It feels like I bought a new car and they are going to put an old engine inside and tell me it works fine. I can't stress how disappointed I am with the delivery guys of this company and I am upset at the level of service that came along with it at the store level. They basically called me a dumbass for accepting the furniture and they said the drivers would never suggest taking the defective piece back. What kind of corporate policy is that. Leave the defective furniture at all costs and do whatever you can to deceive the customer in order to do this. I feel like an idiot for trusting the delivery guys, my advice is to speak to a manager immediately if a furniture company sends a defective piece out to your house. Do not take a delivery guy's word on anything. Do NOT trust this company and for that matter any large furniture company. I feel cheated.
