I have had Hughes Net for about a year and paying about $60.00 a month for nothing. We do not have DSL because I live in the country. I was told that we would get great service. We bought the equipment to avoid the monthly fee assuming that we would have great internet service. Well it has been down more than on. When we try to call and fix the problem we are told that it will cost a fee of around $50.00 and hour to talk to a service tech that is going to READ off of his computer the same things I can get on mine(when it is working). I am sick of Hughes Net. I believe that dial up was faster. How can a company keep selling this %$%^& knowing full well that it does not work. No one wants to buy the equipment and I guess we are stuck with a lawn orniment. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that DSL comes out my way fast. I recomend that NO one invest their hard earned money in this service. It is a joke. Also, the Hughes Net tools they tell you to download to fix problems, It does nothing .
