Hughesnet Internet Satelite service could possibly be the biggest rip off out there. You have seen the commercials. FASTER than dial up, download music and its all crap. They have what they call( FAP )FAIR ACCESS POLICY claiming that you are limited in a 24 hour period of what you can do on the internet. Don't think for a second you can download movies because it is not gonna happen. Legal or illegal music, you might get 20 songs before your interent becomes slower, yes slower than dial up. Do you like YouTube, well you might enjoy it at best 60 minutes in a 24 hour period. Myspace fans foreget it, after you surf a few pages checking out music your service stops for 24 hours. Thats not the only complaint. If there is one cloud in the sky your service slows down and if its raining forget it. Whenyou call to complain they offer you faster service for 20$ more a month, thats on top of the 65$ you are already paying for this hideous ISP and its no different. Seriously even if you can afford their riduculous price you are not getting what you pay for. After 90 minutes of normal surfing it becomes slower than dial up and no I am not joking in the slightest. So do yourself a favor and save your money and your headaches and DO NOT GET HUGHESNET. Its a 2 year contract and it would be hardly worth it if it were free and its nearly triple of cable internet. I live in the country to and thats who they prey on and believe me they could care less about your complainst. Thats why when you call you get INDIA, yes India. Save your money forget HUGHESNET, some thing better will come along guarenteed.
