Hukilau gives you wide range of food that to not so expensive. Great idea to go here... Nope not good idea! Though they have cheap Hawaiian food it is not worthy. I had been there with my friends on Saturday for dinner. Our group love to taste new dishes and Hawaiian a good choice to have it. We decided to have lots of Hawaiian food till our stomach gets full. Well, we ordered drinks first- Hula girl four, appetizer were American and then ordered our main course. Ahi poke salad, Kalua Cabbage, Portuguese bean soup and Mahi Loco Moco. I thought how everything is wasted when we paid for so much. Drinks were great but the Ahi poke salad was yucky, the sesame oil was put too much only and the taste of soy sauce was terrible. The kalua Cabbage was fine to be swallowed and Mahi loco mocco was bad enough to throw in dustbin. The rice served with Locco mocco was burned, of course not it was not due to brown Hawaiian gravy but it got the burned taste itself. Gravy was awful it has some different strong taste which mouth couldn't bear. Stay away from Hukilau, don't just come out paying money and eating air!
