I stopped to get gas at 9:30 this morning at the above Getty station. Every sign on the pumps and on Huntington Pk. listed the price of 87 octane gas at $1.93 / gallon. When I scanned my credit card at the pump, the price on the pump said $1.97 / gallon. I went inside to ask why. The 3 men inside were very rude. They said the price was going up. They raised the gas price without changing the signs first. I asked if they had a corporate phone number or web site I could contact. They said they didn't know if there was one. I asked what the name of the owner was and they got very indignant and said there wasn't anyone I could contact, but I could get an 800 number off the pump. While I was outside at the pump again, 2 of the men came outside. I asked again what the name of the Getty was. They totally ingored me. While this was going on another customer pulled up to a pump. The one man told the woman that the prices were going up. I interjected and told her that the price on all the sings was 4 cents lower than the price on the pump. She drove away. I am disgusted by the way I was treated at this station. I usually use Getty gas but this was the first time I was at that station. Your employees are rude, foreign and inconsiderate. I will never use Getty gas again. There are too many other choices of gas stations for me to spend my money at. I also called the Dept. of Weights and Measures to complain about this. They are filing a report with the Attorney General. I ask that you respond to this letter by Emailing me. Thank you for your time, Alyce Newman
