I placed an order with Coastal Storm Protection, Inc., owned and operated by R*ck J*rvis in Beaufort, SC. I gave a deposit of over $8, 000 for 14 roll down shutters and storm panels in Sept. of 2005. In November, Mr. J*rvis came to the house and installed some tracks and dropped off a small pile of sheet metal. He promised to return the next week, with the rest of the materials, to complete the job and requested another $4, 000 - which he got. It is now March of 2006 and I have gotten nothing else except excuses.

I have contacted roll down shutter manufacturers in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina; none have any work orders for my shutters - although, some have had unpleasant experiences with Mr. J*rvis.

I live on a relatively small island and have already found another homeowner here who has given this person thousands of dollars and received nothing but some aluminum tracks screwed onto the house. After numerous calls to this person, I also know he travels throughout GA and FL - so BEWARE!

What is most disgusting - is that he offers FREE BIBLE COURSES on his web site.
It is sickening enough to prey on fear with promises to safe-guard your home against hurricanes, but to manipulate Faith in God in order to steal money from people, is truly despicable.
