I have no idea how much importance this site has or how I can be helped out but I have proper grievence against Hucthison Essar Telecommunication Ltd.
To start with, their executives called me up and told me the low call rates which never existed. I agreed to taking up the new connection with the slashed call rates and a Hutch executive was sent to my office to give me the SIM card. I deposited a sum of Rs500 to him as a Security Deposit.

I made a single call for 5 minutes from this new number and I felt that the call rates which were charged were double the call rates which I had been told... I called up the customer care to confirm the call rates. They told me that no such schemes exist... So I asked them to disconnect this connection as I already had another SIM and didn't want to carry two SIMs...

In spite of my number of requests to the customer care, my connection was not disconnected and they kept on sending me the monthly bills for 6-7 months... I had not used that SIM card after the first day of 5 minutes call...

Till this it was fine. They stopped sending the bills...

But one fine day I received a call from the high court person that Hutch has filed a case against me for cheating and fraud... There was no notice which I got. Was that me who cheated and frauded Hucth or was it the other way round???

Fine... Then I talked to the Hutch lawyer who had filed the case. He asked me to pay the amount (1060) at the hutch center which was the outstanding amount and he will withdraw the case. Where the hell did that 500 rs security go. This was the amount charged to me for making a call of 5 minutes...

OK... To avoid the court, I went and paid the due amount at the hutch center. I had to fly to UK the next day. But, the court ppl are still harassing the ppl in my flat in India that there is a case filed and its final hearing is on so and so date...

And my company has a number of corporate Hutch connections. I will make sure that if no action is taken against Hutch delhi employees, then the there will be no relation between my company and hutch... And we will prefer Hutch's competitor Airtel. Will do everything possible to reduce the Hutch's popularity...
