Hydra Properties, a Dubai based company with over 17 projects worldover, but mostly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai would appear to be a pyramid scheme that has used money from project launches to finance the next project launch.

The fact is that most of their property projects are hardly even started. The company appears to have run out of money and makes demands for payments despite the fact that they have built practically nothing.

Their contracts (if one ever gets one) are fraught with dangerous small print that forces you to pay at least 50% of the price despite the fact that very little is built and there is no penalty should they never build at all.

Stay away from this company! They will take the shirt of your back. Their agents blatantly lie. Their Press Releases are simply rubbish and their contracts laughable. As for their ability to actually construct anything in a reasonable timeframe: Nil. Project delivery dates are constantly postponed but the client must pay and pay. Their flagship property Hydra Village is less than 2% built but 50% paid up.

Hundreds of investors have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars with this bunch. Stay well clear.
