ripoff
I sent away for the product for the discounted shipping price of $1.99 and was told on the web site if I was dissatisfied I could just cancel my membership and not be billed. The original order doesn't mention that you must not just call, but mail back the unused or empty product before the 14 day trial period ends, AND they fail to mention the trial period starts on the day of the order...which will take 5-10 business days to receive. It took me 12 days to receive my order, and my bank account was billed $69.95 and some change 2 DAYS after I received the product!!! Where is there time to decide if you like the product??? I should have known!
But if you do have a chance to mail it back be very sure you do it by certified mail with signature at receipt of product or they will NOT refund your money! So if you just send it 'return to sender" or priority mail without a sig. upon receipt you are out just short of $70.00 for a liquid that is basically equal to ponds cold cream and egg whites

Burned face
I did some researching and 'Keranique' is marketed by the same company that sells 'Hydroxatone' touted for its "miraculous" fix for "Diminishes the appearance of dark under-eye
circles.
Reduces the look of crow's feet and visible signs
of aging.
Helps smooth and firm the appearance of delicate
skin around eyes.
Delivers intense moisture.
I am here to tell you that not only does this product NOT work, but it burned my face.
After contacting the company, unfortunately I found out that since it is a "risk free" product, under 'terms & conditions' you can do NOTHING to the company. "Risk free" means that you waive your right to sue the company in any way.
Sorry girls, next time research those "risk free" products more closely. AND follow that old saying, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably IS"!!

I do not recommend buying hydroxatone at all
I do not recommend buying hydroxatone at all. They say that you can return products and cancel your account. However, when you are calling to cancel they just put you on hold constantly and it is impossible to get through to a representative. Either they have really bad customer service or this is their strategy to wear you out. They will keep sending you their products and billing your account. In the end, you will just be forced to cancel your card, so you don't get further charges. Not to mention the hydroxytone didnt even work for me. I asked my doctor about it and he also told me that he didn't recommend it for me.

unauthorized withdrawal
Hydroxatone is a SCAM! I got my first treatment and discovered they had discovered they had charged me far more than the $3.99 delivery charge. The next month they took out 74.00. I had my bank call them. They promised to return the money and cancel my account. I got an e mail saying they canceled it. The money was never returned. Then I got an e mail from Postal Delivery which i have never heard of saying I had to print out an address label and go get the pkg. since I have never heard of postal delivery, I had no idea what this was about.
I had changed my credit card and to my horror discovered this same company had taken out another $70.00. After checking out the unauthorized withdrawal, I discovered it was withdrawn in a foreign company and I was charged a fee for it being a foreign transaction.
How did they withdraw this when I had a new credit card. It said it was an automatic non-pin withdrawal but all they had was the old credit card number. Even my pharmacy could not do a new non-pin withdrawal without my new credit card number.
HOW DID THEY DO IT?
I am going back to my bank to demand that they track this transaction.

charge credit card for free sample
As you can see on the internet they are stealing money scam from everybody
that get in their free sample test. You are going to be charge on the credit card you will use to pay shipping for the order you didn't made or want to do.They don't answer the phone and if they do
they tell you no refund, no returns and have a happy day.Man is so easy to steal money in this country as thousands of companies do every day that we deserve another finance crisis or meltdown economy to keep learning how to do business.

CONTINUED REFUSAL TO CANCEL AND REFUND
hydroxatone

Continued and ongoing failure to acknowledge cancellation, respond to phone and email requests for assistance in cancellation and refund and continued charges, both initially authorized charges (WITH MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO CANCEL )and CHARGES THAT WERE NEVER AUTHORIZED.

When ordering I EMPHASIZED that I did not want any other offers, products of services beside the 90 day trial of their Hydroxatone product. I asked numerous questions about the return and refund policy and procedure, as I've been burned with phone ordering in the past. I should have known that despite all of their assurances, that I shouldn't have trusted them to deliver on their promises. Upon receiptof the product, I read in the material that I would be charged a total of $217 ... starting one week from receiving the product, which they conveniently negleted to tell me. I immediately called the phone number provided for cancellation. I got a recording saying that, due to high volume, they were unable to take my call. please leave a message. They would return the call within 24 hours. I not only left my contact information, but I stated that I wanted to cancel the order, return the product and needed to know the procedure for doing so. This was well before the first authorized debit was to have hit my bank account ... I stated that I did NOT want the charges made against my account, and that there should be ample time to avoid it. They never returned my call yet did not miss a beat charging my account 69.97, (which also dropped my account balance below the minimum requirement to avoid a $5 Service Charge). When checking my bank account, I also discovered that they had, despite my specific instructions not to, signed me up for TWO other services, Funsource and Value Plus (which I have NO IDEA what those are!) charging my account ANOTHER $24.95 and $1.95 FOR EACH SERVICE. I was able to call and reverse those charges. But the initial problem with Hydroxatone never got resolved. Several days later, I again called. Same recording. Again no response. And I followed up with an email through the "Contact Us" link on their website. Again NOTHING. Two or three weeks later I again called and emailed, this time documenting both the date and time...telling them that I was frustrated at getting no reply to ANY of my requests for assistance in cancelling my order and returning the product. I have since emailed and called TWO MORE TIMES, but, this time they had changed their message ... there was no promise to return the call ... only instructions to call back, which regardless of if the call was made during stated business hours ... I've always gotten a recording telling me to call back. My account has now been charged an ADDITIONAL $69.94 ... WITH NO RESOLUTION IN SIGHT. I have threatened the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General Office ... which I fully intend to follow through with. Then TODAY I RECEIVED ANOTHER PACKAGE CONTAINING ANOTHER THREE MONTH SUPPLY!!! Unbelievable! The company owes me $149.91 to-date ... and if I'm unsuccessful in stopping it, will surely get charged ANOTHER $69.97 IN A FEW DAYS. Now what? I actually was looking the CEO's name and address when I came upon this site ... and thought I'd warn other consumers.

Doesn't Work, They'll take your money even if you Cancel
Hydrolize, What was I thinking? Just ordering the product took an hour because I had to decline an endless loop of automated product solicitations. Product came I got three jars for which I was financially responsible. Must return one opened and two unopened to get full refund. They don't tell you that.

Q: Why send three jars when I only need one to test? (Sneaky). I sent product back in time and I got a US Postal Service delivery receipt that I could track. It was delivered two days after the post mark but they still charged me for another payment. I called with my PO tracking info and they said “receiving must not have logged it into the system”. If I didn't call they were charging. The product doesn't work, misleading rules to get refund, they only honored the guarantee after hours of time wasted on hold for Customer Service. To eliminate dark circles, stay away from this product, and the extraordinary amount of aggravation.

Thiefs
This is the worst company when it comes to customer service I have ever dealt with. I originally started to order the product I had seen advertised on TV but never finished placing my order. After I read the terms and agreement I exited out of the screen and never received a confirmation number.

About a few weeks later I noticed I had been charged for shipping and I now have a package on my door step I never wanted. When trying to contact customer service It took 2 weeks for someone to return my call then I was told obviously I submitted the order other wise I wouldn't have it in my hands. I told them I don't believe I should have to pay for return shipping sense I never even received a confirmation number that I would be receiving anything. The response I was given was "well then do you want to pay the 139.00 instead", off course I don't what type of answer is that. I received the same attitude for the so called management also.

On 12/11/2010 I sent this product back priority mail, but I thought that included a tracking number, turns out, no you have to ask for it. Yes this is my mistake for not knowing. Its now 1/3/2011 and I have been charged 69.95 to my bank and Hydroxatone is saying they never received my return package and how do they know that I am not just telling them I returned it and didn't sense I didn't want to pay the return shipping in the first place.

Now the post office is doing a search for the "lost" package and I'm out 70 more dollars. I am a full time student I can't afford this type of bull sh*t and neither can any one else in this economy. I have field a fraudulent charge with my bank and thanks to Chase they said they will deal with them and credit my account. I have now had to cancel that card so this company can now longer steal my money.
